00:00:00You have to do freelancing, you have to do online business, you have to work with international clients.
00:00:04The biggest issue that we Indians face is English language.
00:00:08Our English language is not that good, we are not able to talk to them properly,
00:00:12we are not able to understand what they are saying, because of which we have a lot of potential.
00:00:16We can do the work very well, but because of that language barrier, we are not able to do it.
00:00:20So brother, in Masterclass by HP Services, today your barrier has also been broken.
00:00:25Because today Ms. Ayesha has brought a complete English language course for you.
00:00:29And she has a very good experience in English language teaching.
00:00:32There are already a lot of students who have been taught this English language.
00:00:35This course is going to be in English language.
00:00:37Because if you want to learn English language, then the course will also be in English.
00:00:41Now you guys might be thinking that if we don't know English, then how will we do it?
00:00:45See, first of all, let me tell you some tips.
00:00:47How do you want to learn?
00:00:48You have to turn on the subtitles.
00:00:50At the place where you don't understand the meaning of something, you will simply translate it.
00:00:54And in fact, you have to keep a copy pencil with you, which words you have not heard or learned.
00:00:59And then you will translate it, understand it, and then you will see it.
00:01:02Keep one thing in mind.
00:01:03If you are thinking that after watching this course or after translating it, I will understand it,
00:01:09then this is not going to happen.
00:01:10It will take you time.
00:01:11You have to take the challenge of at least 45 days.
00:01:13I will practice English regularly for 45 days without skipping a single day.
00:01:19I will practice English language daily.
00:01:20So God willing, you will become so fluent.
00:01:22At least you will know so much English that you can do freelancing, do online business.
00:01:26And at least you will be able to make the foreigners understand what you are saying.
00:01:30Remember, if you want to learn any English language, you have to learn it by speaking it.
00:01:35No course in the world, no training in the world can put it in your mind.
00:01:39Until you don't speak, you won't learn.
00:01:42Let me give you another tip.
00:01:43Even if you don't have anyone to talk to,
00:01:45by the way, it's not that difficult in today's world.
00:01:47Okay, it won't be possible at home, but on social media or other sites where you can practice,
00:01:52but it's still not possible.
00:01:53So stand in front of the mirror and speak.
00:01:55The more you speak, the more you will learn.
00:01:58So I am also very excited to watch this course with you.
00:02:01God willing, I will also apply these tips.
00:02:02And I have mentioned the social media links of Miss Ayesha in the description.
00:02:06Go and follow them and share this course as much as possible.
00:02:09So let's learn.
00:02:11Assalamualaikum and hello there.
00:02:14My name is Ayesha Deel and I am your course instructor for Spoken English, a Beginner's Guide.
00:02:20I hope you're as excited about this course as I am.
00:02:24Do you feel frustrated, bored, stressed out or nervous whenever you try to speak English
00:02:30even after years of learning the language?
00:02:33Well, you're not alone.
00:02:35English trauma is a global epidemic.
00:02:38The reason why I decided to create this course is that I wish to help you overcome your fear of speaking English.
00:02:46Please try to understand that English is no rocket science.
00:02:51Learning English can be fun.
00:02:53Learning to speak English is very much possible if you are determined and consistent.
00:02:59One of the reasons that really inspired me to develop this course was a video that I coincidentally saw on YouTube.
00:03:06The speaker is now a highly successful and famous CEO and entrepreneur.
00:03:12In the video, he tells about his early years as a digital marketer.
00:03:16He had so much knowledge in his subject that he was bursting with it.
00:03:21Once, he had an interview with one of the biggest marketing companies of the world.
00:03:27In the final round, they asked him his ideas and solutions to different problems.
00:03:32He knew the answers, but he remained silent.
00:03:36He wasn't able to express himself.
00:03:38He wasn't able to find the words to explain his ideas.
00:03:42Therefore, he got rejected.
00:03:45After that, he started his own business and did very well with the local clients, but kept on losing the international ones.
00:03:53Finally, he realized that in order to achieve his dreams and to become highly successful,
00:04:00he will need to learn the English language, conversation, and communication.
00:04:06It really breaks my heart when I see so many talented students and children
00:04:12taking the exams of different schools, but they're not granted admissions only because of the language barrier,
00:04:19only because they're not able to answer the questions in English at the time of the interview.
00:04:24I hope you realize that in spite of having technical skills, knowledge, and practical experience,
00:04:31you'll limit yourself if you don't try to improve your English skills and communication skills as well.
00:04:38English connects you with the world.
00:04:41The objectives of this course are
00:04:43to help my students overcome their fear of speaking English,
00:04:47to help them transform their broken English into fluent English,
00:04:52to provide an organized content,
00:04:54to encourage a positive attitude towards learning English,
00:04:58and to be able to interact with others through this language,
00:05:02to be able to differentiate between communication and talking.
00:05:07Hello there!
00:05:08Speaking English can open up a lot of new opportunities in career, academics, and personal life.
00:05:15But many people fail to speak English fluently.
00:05:18There are several reasons for this.
00:05:20Many people feel shy and nervous to speak English.
00:05:24Some feel afraid that they'll make a lot of mistakes.
00:05:27Having a negative mindset and fixed mindset can also lead to failure.
00:05:32Some have no goals, or they lack the effort of practicing.
00:05:36Some students think that in order to speak English fluently,
00:05:39they need to first perfect their grammar.
00:05:41Let's take a closer look at these causes.
00:05:45Do you think that in order to speak English fluently,
00:05:48you need to first learn some boring and countless rules of grammar?
00:05:52Well, when you were a toddler, did you first learn the rules of grammar,
00:05:57and then did you start speaking your mother tongue?
00:05:59Now, don't get the wrong idea.
00:06:02Grammar is important, and I just love it.
00:06:05But more important than grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation,
00:06:09is psychology and a growth mindset.
00:06:12Some students feel nervous and shy to speak English
00:06:16because they're afraid to make mistakes.
00:06:19It is natural to make mistakes.
00:06:21A lot of people now who are fluent speakers of English
00:06:24had been in the same situation.
00:06:27The more mistakes you make, the more you will learn.
00:06:30Let me share a little secret with you.
00:06:33Even a lot of native speakers make mistakes,
00:06:36and they don't get upset about it.
00:06:38Barack Obama once said,
00:06:40don't let your mistakes define you, let them teach you.
00:06:44Some people feel frustrated to speak English
00:06:47because they care too much about what others think about them.
00:06:50Tell me, if you're a beginner and in case you speak broken English,
00:06:55do you think you look foolish?
00:06:57Does it really mean that you're a fool?
00:07:00No, of course not.
00:07:02Just because you cannot speak a certain language
00:07:05doesn't mean that you're any less talented or any less intelligent.
00:07:10You can learn to speak any language in the world by practicing.
00:07:14Don't feel inferior because English isn't your mother tongue.
00:07:18Many nations of the world, in spite of knowing English,
00:07:21prefer to speak their own mother tongue.
00:07:24Some people are afraid of speaking English
00:07:26because they think that if they make mistakes,
00:07:29something bad will happen to them.
00:07:31Think about it.
00:07:32What is the worst thing that can happen to you?
00:07:35Will people laugh at you?
00:07:37Yes, it is possible that few people may make fun of you,
00:07:41laugh at you,
00:07:42or make remarks like
00:07:51But you are practicing for your own growth, and not for them.
00:07:55In your life, there will always be two kinds of people.
00:07:59The first category belongs to those who will always support,
00:08:02motivate, and encourage you.
00:08:05The second type is of those people who will always discourage you.
00:08:09If you have some people in your life who belong to the first category,
00:08:13then you're very lucky.
00:08:15But honestly speaking,
00:08:17we actually grow in the real sense
00:08:20when we put ourselves in uncomfortable situations.
00:08:23Many English learners have negative thoughts or a fixed mindset.
00:08:28For example,
00:08:29This is too hard.
00:08:31I will never be able to speak English.
00:08:33I'm sorry.
00:08:35I'm afraid that if you continue to have negative thoughts and listen to them,
00:08:39then you can continue to be unsuccessful.
00:08:42That is why it is very important to have a growth mindset
00:08:46which focuses on the positive.
00:08:48Your efforts are going to be the key to your success,
00:08:52not a quality that you were born with.
00:08:54More than 2 billion people are learning English worldwide.
00:08:58But many of them will not be successful
00:09:01because they don't have any set goals.
00:09:04Just by wishing that one day you'll be able to speak English fluently
00:09:08without making any grammatical or pronunciation mistakes
00:09:12is just not enough.
00:09:14This is a very broad and unclear statement.
00:09:17You need to have an end and final goal.
00:09:20For example,
00:09:22You want to clear your IELTS exam with the first attempt?
00:09:25You're moving or traveling to some Western country?
00:09:28You want to make some English-speaking friends?
00:09:31Or you want to grow more in your career?
00:09:34I'm not saying that your wish
00:09:36that you want to speak English fluently one day is not achievable.
00:09:40It is.
00:09:41It's just that learning a new language can take time
00:09:44and there can be occasional failures and setbacks.
00:09:47At this point, many students get discouraged
00:09:52and they give up.
00:09:53So in order to keep yourself motivated,
00:09:55you have to focus on the biggest picture.
00:09:58You can do this by setting
00:10:00short, specific, and strategic goals.
00:10:04For example,
00:10:05you can listen to a good English podcast daily for one month.
00:10:09After that one month, you can set a new goal.
00:10:12For example,
00:10:13you will try to speak in English
00:10:15on an everyday topic without hesitation for one minute.
00:10:19So this way you can set some goals for yourself.
00:10:22So keep trying, have courage,
00:10:25don't give up,
00:10:26and don't pay any heed to naysayers
00:10:29and negative-minded people.
00:10:31Assalamualaikum.
00:10:32Hi, how are you?
00:10:34Last time I talked about the importance of psychology
00:10:37and mindset in learning a language.
00:10:39And you don't have to feel embarrassed
00:10:41if you can't speak English fluently
00:10:43as it's not your mother tongue.
00:10:45Many nations of the world
00:10:46pay more attention to their own native language
00:10:48than any other language.
00:10:50I was on a business trip to Germany once
00:10:53and I stopped a cop to ask him for directions.
00:10:56And he said to me in perfect English
00:10:59that I was very rude since I wasn't speaking to him German,
00:11:02but in English.
00:11:04Now coming to our topic,
00:11:06you need to listen to English as much as possible,
00:11:09whether it's audio books, speeches,
00:11:12movies, or podcasts.
00:11:15Don't stop listening.
00:11:17Do you find it difficult to understand
00:11:19native speakers of English?
00:11:21Do you feel that they speak too fast?
00:11:24The first step towards learning to speak
00:11:27any language is listening.
00:11:29The more you listen,
00:11:31the better you'll get at it.
00:11:33Initially, you'll miss out on a lot of words,
00:11:36but over time, you'll understand everything.
00:11:39Listening will improve your speaking capabilities immensely.
00:11:44You'll learn perfect pronunciation,
00:11:47accent, grammar, and intonation.
00:11:50Listening and repeating is the best way to learn a language.
00:11:54Listening to English every day for 30 minutes
00:11:57will bring a revolutionary change in your life.
00:12:00Listening to English is the natural way to learn.
00:12:04How do babies learn to speak their native language?
00:12:07For the first year of their lives,
00:12:09all they do is listen and observe.
00:12:12They become familiar with the words and phrases
00:12:15of their native language.
00:12:17The more they listen,
00:12:19the more they become fluent and natural.
00:12:22This is called the method of language acquisition.
00:12:26Of course, as adults,
00:12:28we can speed up this process a lot.
00:12:31Be an active listener,
00:12:33and don't just hear,
00:12:35because hearing is a passive process,
00:12:37whereas listening means
00:12:39to pay attention and try to understand
00:12:41the words and the sounds.
00:12:43Search for topics in which
00:12:45you are genuinely interested,
00:12:47like business,
00:12:49traveling, cooking, baking,
00:12:51and the metaverse.
00:12:53The great thing about YouTube is that
00:12:57if you're listening to a scene
00:12:59and you want to check on a new word,
00:13:01or something you didn't understand,
00:13:03you can always go back
00:13:05and check on it.
00:13:08This is a very good habit
00:13:10of going back and checking on something.
00:13:12First, try to listen without subtitles,
00:13:14then switch them on.
00:13:16Start by watching videos
00:13:18of 2-5 minutes.
00:13:20Watch cartoons.
00:13:22You'll learn more from cartoons
00:13:24than from movies.
00:13:26Cartoons use better language,
00:13:28perfect grammar,
00:13:30and normally no slangs.
00:13:32Listen to a TED talk.
00:13:34Try to understand its basic concept
00:13:36and teach it to someone,
00:13:38or record yourself.
00:13:40Watching movies is a fun
00:13:42and popular way of learning English.
00:13:44But movies may also waste
00:13:46your time a little,
00:13:48because in case there's a fighting scene,
00:13:50nobody's talking at that time.
00:13:52You don't have to watch the whole movie.
00:13:54Divide the movie into three parts.
00:13:56Watch one part,
00:13:58and in case you're not able
00:14:00to understand something,
00:14:02you can watch it again.
00:14:04Don't do binge-watching.
00:14:06Sometimes, we keep watching and watching
00:14:08without trying to understand the things.
00:14:10If you really want to learn,
00:14:12watch the same thing
00:14:14two to three times.
00:14:16The second time you watch,
00:14:18you'll grab many things.
00:14:20And don't forget to watch a movie
00:14:22with a high IMD rating.
00:14:24Watching the English news channels
00:14:26like CNN, Fox News,
00:14:28BBC, Sky News,
00:14:30and Al Jazeera
00:14:33can teach you new words of English
00:14:35and educate you in proper pronunciation.
00:14:37I myself haven't really studied
00:14:39from an English school
00:14:41because in the time where I spent
00:14:43my childhood,
00:14:45there were no English schools.
00:14:47But I grew up watching
00:14:49a lot of CNN
00:14:51and some great TV shows
00:14:53like Small Wonder and Full House.
00:14:55And they really helped me
00:14:57improve my language.
00:14:59Assalamualaikum.
00:15:01Most of us have studied English
00:15:03for years.
00:15:05Many of us are still not able to speak
00:15:07the language fluently
00:15:09or pronounce a lot of words correctly.
00:15:11A lot of us know how to read
00:15:13and understand English.
00:15:15But we still feel nervousness
00:15:17in speaking the language.
00:15:19Many of the methods tried
00:15:21may have been ineffective.
00:15:23Your accent and pronunciation
00:15:25is very important.
00:15:27Grammar and sentence structure
00:15:29If you say that
00:15:31he go to college yesterday
00:15:33or
00:15:35they has a good collection of books
00:15:37then that wouldn't be right.
00:15:39But also very important is your accent.
00:15:41Try to sound natural.
00:15:43Listen to native speakers of English
00:15:45like Americans, Britishers,
00:15:47Australians, and Canadians.
00:15:49In the beginning,
00:15:51listen to either American or British speakers.
00:15:55If you think that you don't have the environment
00:15:58then create your own.
00:16:00For 90 days, listen to only
00:16:02English YouTube channels,
00:16:04grammars, sports, cooking shows,
00:16:06and international motivational speakers.
00:16:08Listen to things
00:16:10of your interest.
00:16:12When you listen to a native speaker
00:16:14it will go to your mind
00:16:16subconsciously.
00:16:18You may not enjoy it in the beginning
00:16:20but after 5 or 6 times
00:16:22it will become part of your life.
00:16:24When you listen to a native speaker
00:16:26try to imitate their intonation
00:16:28and pronunciation.
00:16:30Do they go up or down
00:16:32when they make a certain sound?
00:16:34How do they pronounce the various letters or words?
00:16:36I have read a lot of books
00:16:38on spoken English by
00:16:40international authors.
00:16:42But one book that really caught my attention
00:16:44was Talk English by Ken Zhao.
00:16:46I would recommend this book
00:16:48to anybody who wants to improve
00:16:50his or her English fluency.
00:16:52As you read the book
00:16:54you can connect with the author
00:16:56and feel the suffering he experienced
00:16:58as a result of his broken English.
00:17:00Finally,
00:17:02he did succeed at improving
00:17:04his English communication.
00:17:06He did his Masters of Science in Space Studies
00:17:08and became a translator
00:17:10in the United States Department of Defense.
00:17:12He also became
00:17:14a business owner,
00:17:16a newspaper editor,
00:17:18a principal, and an English teacher.
00:17:20His story is very inspiring.
00:17:22Mr. Ken Zhao
00:17:24belonged to a poor farming village
00:17:26in China.
00:17:28When he was 7, he started working in the fields.
00:17:30When he was 13 years old,
00:17:32he dropped out of school.
00:17:34At 17,
00:17:36he moved to the USA with his family.
00:17:38There,
00:17:40he started taking ESL classes.
00:17:42By the age of 20,
00:17:44he spoke broken English,
00:17:46understood the language very little,
00:17:48and had a limited vocabulary.
00:17:51But then he used a method
00:17:53that transformed his broken English
00:17:55into fluent English within 6 months.
00:17:57People thought that English
00:17:59was his native language.
00:18:01He says that he doesn't have
00:18:03any special talents.
00:18:05What he used was
00:18:07My Fluent English Formula.
00:18:09It was a formula that he himself
00:18:11created after reading more than
00:18:1380 books on spoken English
00:18:15by native and non-native speakers.
00:18:17His golden rule is
00:18:19Repeat what you hear
00:18:21again and again.
00:18:23He got the perfect opportunity
00:18:25to work on his strategy in New York City,
00:18:27where he used to travel every day
00:18:29to and from work
00:18:31in the subway train.
00:18:33He would take his walkman with him
00:18:35so that on the way he could listen
00:18:37to English lessons and songs.
00:18:39But after reading all those books
00:18:41on spoken English,
00:18:43he decided to use his walkman
00:18:45for his strategy,
00:18:47Every day upon reaching home
00:18:49he would record the news
00:18:51for the next day.
00:18:53And then he started repeating the news in the subway.
00:18:55During those days,
00:18:57the subways used to be very noisy
00:18:59and this gave him a great opportunity
00:19:01to work on his strategy.
00:19:03Nobody could understand what he was talking about.
00:19:05In the beginning,
00:19:07there were a lot of words he didn't understand.
00:19:09But he repeated them anyway.
00:19:11In the beginning,
00:19:13the news was too fast for him.
00:19:16He just tried to catch up.
00:19:18If there was ever a word or phrase
00:19:20he didn't understand,
00:19:22he would rewind the tape and listen to it again.
00:19:24He would repeat that word or phrase
00:19:26once, twice or thrice
00:19:28until he got it right.
00:19:30That helped a lot.
00:19:32Three months after he started this exercise,
00:19:34he recorded his own speaking
00:19:36to see how much he had improved.
00:19:38To his surprise,
00:19:40he had become pretty fluent.
00:19:42His English was even better
00:19:44After three more months,
00:19:46he again recorded his speaking.
00:19:48And the result was overwhelming.
00:19:50His speech was slow,
00:19:52pronunciation was correct,
00:19:54accent was better,
00:19:56and his voice was clear.
00:19:58Hello.
00:20:00Why can't we speak English confidently
00:20:02like we speak our mother tongue?
00:20:04What is the root cause of this problem?
00:20:06Do we need to improve our grammar?
00:20:08Do we need to enhance our vocabulary
00:20:10to make a language better?
00:20:12Do we need to enhance our vocabulary
00:20:14to make a lasting impression?
00:20:16What is the mistake that we're making?
00:20:18The problem could be
00:20:20that when we're speaking
00:20:22in our mother tongue,
00:20:24we're thinking in our mother tongue.
00:20:26But when we're trying to speak in English,
00:20:28we're still thinking in our mother tongue
00:20:30and then we translate it to English.
00:20:32This is the root cause of this problem.
00:20:34If you're able to find
00:20:36a solution to this,
00:20:38then your English will be fluent
00:20:41and you'll gain confidence.
00:20:43So we need to think in English directly
00:20:45instead of converting.
00:20:47Converting and translating
00:20:49takes up a lot of time and effort.
00:20:51If your English is slow and broken,
00:20:53this means that you're thinking
00:20:55in your mother tongue.
00:20:57So why do we need to translate anyway?
00:20:59Why can't we just directly think in English?
00:21:01Since childhood,
00:21:03we're used to thinking and speaking
00:21:05in Urdu or Arabic, etc.
00:21:07Did you speak in your mother tongue
00:21:09before you got into school or after that?
00:21:11Of course!
00:21:13Before you got into school,
00:21:15you could comfortably speak
00:21:17in your mother tongue and express yourself.
00:21:19As a toddler,
00:21:21we used to observe our adults
00:21:23and copy them.
00:21:25So the first thing is observation
00:21:27and then practice.
00:21:29Your thinking is totally in your control.
00:21:31What you think will come out of your mouth.
00:21:33If you don't first try to learn
00:21:35to think in English
00:21:37and instead directly try to speak English,
00:21:39then it'll be very difficult for you.
00:21:41So how do we develop
00:21:43this ability of thinking in English?
00:21:45It won't happen overnight.
00:21:47You'll have to get used to it
00:21:49and make it a habit.
00:21:51In the beginning,
00:21:53you'll have to put in a lot of effort.
00:21:55It will drain you and worn you out.
00:21:57But with time, it'll get better.
00:21:59Whenever you're trying to learn a new skill
00:22:01like driving, skating,
00:22:03or learning how to make chapatis, etc.,
00:22:05it feels really hard
00:22:07and you have to be very careful and cautious.
00:22:09But with time, it becomes automatic.
00:22:11When you keep practicing that skill,
00:22:13the hard part comes down
00:22:15and you start enjoying the process.
00:22:17So let's dive in
00:22:19and look at the different ways
00:22:21you can learn how to think in English
00:22:23step by step.
00:22:25Surround yourself with English.
00:22:27Watch English movies, TV shows,
00:22:29comedy shows, and speeches, etc.
00:22:31But with English
00:22:34Watch English subtitles, not with translation.
00:22:36Watch and read anything good
00:22:38as long as it's in English.
00:22:40When you consume a lot of content in English,
00:22:42without even realizing it,
00:22:44you'll start thinking in English.
00:22:46When you expose yourself to English
00:22:48more and more,
00:22:50you'll start thinking in English more and more.
00:22:52Start simple and small.
00:22:54Begin with your bedroom.
00:22:56Look around you.
00:22:58Start naming the objects in English.
00:23:00Door, window,
00:23:02closet.
00:23:04Focus on the pronunciation.
00:23:06If you're not sure about the pronunciation,
00:23:08you can check on Google or an online dictionary.
00:23:10Look at a picture.
00:23:12Start naming the objects in it in English.
00:23:14Gradually,
00:23:16you can start using sentences and phrases.
00:23:18Talk to yourself
00:23:20and have conversations with yourself.
00:23:22Narrate in your head
00:23:24at least one of your activities in English.
00:23:26While cooking, cleaning,
00:23:28shopping, and taking care of the kids.
00:23:30For instance,
00:23:32My room is a mess.
00:23:34I should clean up
00:23:36before mom gets home.
00:23:38This soup needs a little more salt.
00:23:40I think I should put that ice cream
00:23:42in the fridge before it melts.
00:23:44Talk about your routine
00:23:46and plan for the next day.
00:23:48Tomorrow,
00:23:50maybe I'll go shopping.
00:23:52Keep your mind active during the day.
00:23:54Try describing the things you see.
00:23:56Throughout your day,
00:23:59describe in your head
00:24:01everything that's happening around you.
00:24:03You can do it in any situation.
00:24:05At a wedding, at the park,
00:24:07at home, at school.
00:24:09For example,
00:24:11That boy looks like
00:24:13he's looking for his mother.
00:24:15The voice of that word
00:24:17is so beautiful.
00:24:19I don't feel so good today.
00:24:21And I really don't.
00:24:23Do this for 10 minutes every day.
00:24:25Use simple words and sentences.
00:24:27No need to use any complicated structures.
00:24:29With time, it'll get better.
00:24:31Prepare sentences
00:24:33for future conversations.
00:24:35Build a database of sentences
00:24:37that you can use in a variety
00:24:39of situations.
00:24:41Come up with sentences that you can use
00:24:43at school, with your friends,
00:24:45at a party, at the office.
00:24:47I used to practice this
00:24:49when I was at school.
00:24:51I used to write down different sentences
00:24:53in my diary and I used to practice them
00:24:55before having a talk with my teacher.
00:24:57Excuse me, ma'am.
00:24:59May I have a word with you, please?
00:25:01I would like to register
00:25:03a complaint, please.
00:25:05Nadia, can you please
00:25:07take a look at my painting?
00:25:09You can do it too before having
00:25:11a talk with your boss, before a business meeting.
00:25:13Or
00:25:15when you're having a casual conversation
00:25:17with your friend.
00:25:19When you keep practicing these sentences,
00:25:21you'll be able to use them without thinking too much.
00:25:24Finally, learn in English.
00:25:26Do an online course
00:25:28in English. Study.
00:25:30Do research. Read the instructions
00:25:32in English.
00:25:34Use an English to English dictionary.
00:25:36Like Peter Pan said,
00:25:38just think of
00:25:40happy thoughts and you'll fly.
00:25:42In most parts of the world,
00:25:44students study English
00:25:46in schools for years.
00:25:48Yet, a vast majority
00:25:50of them never learn
00:25:52to speak English well.
00:25:54Even after years of study,
00:25:56most of them have trouble
00:25:58with English conversations.
00:26:00As a result of the
00:26:02traditional methods used in schools
00:26:04to teach English,
00:26:06most of the students become frustrated,
00:26:08confused and bored.
00:26:10What is the reason
00:26:12of all this misery and failure?
00:26:14One obvious problem
00:26:16is the way they teach English
00:26:18in schools. In many schools
00:26:20all over the world,
00:26:22they use the Grammar Formula Memorization
00:26:24method.
00:26:26But the problem is that this doesn't really work.
00:26:28Because in real
00:26:30English conversations,
00:26:32there is just no time to think about formulas.
00:26:34Speaking English
00:26:36is not a passive activity.
00:26:38You have to be spontaneous.
00:26:40You have to be ready
00:26:42for the unexpected.
00:26:44You must express your ideas.
00:26:46This approach of teaching
00:26:48grammar rules in detail
00:26:50improves the student's writing skills
00:26:52and their ability to take an English test.
00:26:54But what about their
00:26:56speaking ability?
00:26:58Now the big question arises,
00:27:00is grammar even necessary
00:27:02for speaking English?
00:27:04Well, we cannot ignore it completely.
00:27:06Studying grammar in detail
00:27:08is important for writing skills.
00:27:10But for speaking,
00:27:12we don't need to study it in way
00:27:14too much detail or spend too much time
00:27:17on it. Most of the people think
00:27:19that for speaking English,
00:27:21we should focus more on grammar than fluency.
00:27:23And then they
00:27:25end up thinking that,
00:27:27was I even correct?
00:27:29Did I use the right tense?
00:27:31And that is when they
00:27:33start stammering. Just take an example,
00:27:35when you were a kid,
00:27:37you were learning your mother tongue
00:27:39from the environment. Your mother
00:27:41just didn't start teaching you the grammar rules
00:27:43even before preschool.
00:27:45I know what you're thinking,
00:27:47that you don't have the environment.
00:27:49But do you know how we tend to speak
00:27:51better English with better grammar?
00:27:53It is when you listen
00:27:55more and more. It is all
00:27:57about listening.
00:27:59At the end of this lecture,
00:28:01I will talk about some basic grammar
00:28:03that you do need to know as a beginner.
00:28:05Speakers want to convey their messages
00:28:07accurately and fluently,
00:28:09whether it's a casual conversation
00:28:11or public speaking.
00:28:13Accuracy is defined as
00:28:15the correct use of grammar, vocabulary
00:28:17and pronunciation.
00:28:19Fluency means to be spontaneous.
00:28:21You may already know,
00:28:23reading is the fundamental skill
00:28:25to comprehend and understand
00:28:27the written text and to
00:28:29expand our knowledge.
00:28:31But what you may not know is that
00:28:33reading also improves our speaking skills.
00:28:35According to a study,
00:28:37people who lacked
00:28:39accuracy and fluency in their speaking
00:28:42improved their speaking skills
00:28:44a lot after they started reading
00:28:46a lot. They can now
00:28:48subconsciously use the correct
00:28:50grammar, words and
00:28:52construct sentences.
00:28:54They were able to achieve all this
00:28:56without taking any special classes
00:28:58or training, but only
00:29:00because they started reading a lot.
00:29:02According to my
00:29:04experience, the best type
00:29:06of reading material to improve your speaking
00:29:08skills is fiction books,
00:29:10especially modern fiction,
00:29:12because in fiction books they
00:29:14tend to use words, sentences
00:29:16and phrases which people
00:29:18normally use in everyday conversations.
00:29:20Most of the
00:29:22students read for studying
00:29:24English, but one type of reading
00:29:26is reading for pleasure.
00:29:28This means reading something of
00:29:30your interest without stressing
00:29:32about grammar and vocabulary.
00:29:34When you're relaxed,
00:29:36your brain is able to take
00:29:38much more and you learn without
00:29:40even trying. Reading aloud
00:29:42also helps with your speaking skills.
00:29:44Regular practice of reading aloud
00:29:46brings in clarity, fluency
00:29:48and makes you sound confident.
00:29:50It also helps with your pauses.
00:29:52A full stop has
00:29:54a longer pause and a comma has
00:29:56a shorter one.
00:30:08I was excited because
00:30:10I had been upgraded to a
00:30:12first class ticket.
00:30:14And in first class,
00:30:16the seats are bigger,
00:30:18the food is edible
00:30:20and the flight attendants
00:30:22are actually nice.
00:30:24In fact, I had
00:30:26the best seat on the entire
00:30:28plane, seat 1A.
00:30:30Before boarding,
00:30:32I noticed a young
00:30:34lady who had several
00:30:37carry-on bags and was holding
00:30:39a crying baby.
00:30:41Having just finished reading a book
00:30:43on doing random acts of
00:30:45kindness, I heard my
00:30:47conscious speak to me,
00:30:49You scumbag,
00:30:51let her have your ticket.
00:30:53I fought these promptings for a while
00:30:55but eventually caved in.
00:30:57Excuse me,
00:30:59you look like
00:31:01you could use this first class ticket
00:31:03more than me.
00:31:05I know how hard it can be flying with kids.
00:31:07Why don't you let me trade
00:31:09your tickets?
00:31:11I love books and I think that reading
00:31:13books is a fabulous way to learn
00:31:15grammar and improve our vocabulary.
00:31:17But if you're just reading and writing,
00:31:19then you won't be able to read
00:31:21the right level of English improvement
00:31:23that you want to see.
00:31:25If you want to walk into a restaurant
00:31:27and order something in English and sound fluent,
00:31:29you won't be able to do that
00:31:31if you're just reading.
00:31:33You need to be speaking, speaking, speaking.
00:31:35I'll be discussing some different methods
00:31:37and techniques to improve your English
00:31:39speaking skills in the next lecture.
00:31:41For now,
00:31:43I want to talk about vocabulary.
00:31:45Vocabulary is a crucial component
00:31:47for speaking English fluently
00:31:49and confidently.
00:31:51The more words you know, the better you can
00:31:53express yourself.
00:31:55First, it is essential to build
00:31:57a strong foundation to expand
00:31:59your vocabulary.
00:32:01This includes nouns like
00:32:03computer, chair, table,
00:32:05mouse, etc.
00:32:07Verbs, crying,
00:32:09sitting, playing,
00:32:11and adjectives, big,
00:32:13small, happy, sad.
00:32:15These are the building blocks
00:32:17for creating sentences.
00:32:19Next, you can expand your vocabulary
00:32:21by learning phrases and sentences
00:32:23commonly used in everyday
00:32:25conversations.
00:32:31A synonym is
00:32:43a word that has the same meaning
00:32:45as another word.
00:32:47Funny is a synonym of humorous.
00:32:49This rule is all about
00:32:51using synonyms to expand our vocabulary
00:32:53and to make us sound
00:32:55much more fluent.
00:32:57I often hear students repeat the same
00:32:59words again and again like this.
00:33:29You have charming eyes.
00:33:31Can you see how powerful this is?
00:33:33Finally,
00:33:35it's now time to talk
00:33:37about the basic grammar that
00:33:39you must know for speaking English
00:33:41at this stage.
00:33:43Subject,
00:33:45verb, object,
00:33:47also known as SVO,
00:33:49is the simplest
00:33:51and most basic sentence
00:33:53structure in English.
00:33:55It starts with the subject,
00:33:57followed by the verb,
00:33:59and ends with the object.
00:34:01In the examples given below,
00:34:03I is the subject,
00:34:05eat is the verb,
00:34:07and pizza is the object.
00:34:09By understanding
00:34:11and practicing this basic sentence
00:34:13structure, you can start
00:34:15forming simple sentences.
00:34:17There are
00:34:19three main tenses in English,
00:34:21past, present,
00:34:23and future.
00:34:25For beginners,
00:34:27please focus on simple past,
00:34:29present, and future.
00:34:31Verbs tell us what a subject
00:34:33is doing or what is happening
00:34:35to the subject.
00:34:37Regular verbs form past
00:34:39tenses by adding
00:34:41ed to the base form,
00:34:43but irregular verbs
00:34:45do not follow this rule.
00:34:47A contraction
00:34:49is a shortened version of two words,
00:34:51and an apostrophe
00:34:53is used to replace the missing
00:34:55letters. For example,
00:34:57he is becomes
00:34:59he's, that is
00:35:01becomes that's,
00:35:03I am becomes
00:35:05I'm, etc.
00:35:07In spoken English,
00:35:09contractions are very common
00:35:11and can help make your speech
00:35:13sound more natural and fluent.
00:35:15Contractions
00:35:17are more informal,
00:35:19but they are perfectly acceptable
00:35:21in most situations.
00:35:23The subject and the verb of a sentence
00:35:25must agree in number.
00:35:27This means that
00:35:29if the subject is singular,
00:35:31then the verb must also be singular.
00:35:33And if the subject
00:35:35is plural, then the verb
00:35:37must also be plural.
00:35:39My mind
00:35:41goes blank when I try to
00:35:43speak English. I'm stuck
00:35:45and clueless.
00:35:47I don't know what to say.
00:35:49A lot of people
00:35:51don't really progress in their English
00:35:53because they're doing just one
00:35:55of two things.
00:35:57Either they're focusing on the input
00:35:59and not working on the
00:36:01output, or
00:36:03it's the other way around.
00:36:05They're concentrating on the output
00:36:07but not working on the input.
00:36:09Lessons 3 to
00:36:116 were all about input.
00:36:13By now,
00:36:15we understand the importance of
00:36:17speaking, reading, and listening in English.
00:36:19And we can do it in so many ways
00:36:21now. Next
00:36:23comes output, which is
00:36:25in the form of speaking and writing.
00:36:27When you're putting a lot of English
00:36:29into your head, it has to come out.
00:36:31But so many people
00:36:33don't use English.
00:36:35They don't practice speaking in English.
00:36:37And when the time and situation comes
00:36:39for them to use English,
00:36:41they become anxious and hesitant.
00:36:43A lot of people
00:36:45can manage reading,
00:36:47writing, and listening to
00:36:49English, but they think that
00:36:51speaking English is very difficult.
00:36:53Reading a book,
00:36:55memorizing a new word, watching a movie,
00:36:57and listening to a song
00:36:59will not work if you don't practice
00:37:01speaking. When we read,
00:37:03write, and listen to English,
00:37:05we get plenty of time to think
00:37:07about the language, but
00:37:09speaking requires us to immediately
00:37:11come up with a response.
00:37:13Moreover, when we
00:37:15read, write, and listen to English,
00:37:17we stay in our comfort zone,
00:37:19but speaking English requires
00:37:21us to come out of it.
00:37:23Therefore, I'm going to share with you
00:37:25a couple of exercises and methods
00:37:27to help you develop
00:37:29and practice your English speaking skills.
00:37:31The best thing about them
00:37:33is that you don't really need a partner
00:37:35to practice them with.
00:37:37Sometimes, we're too shy
00:37:39of our accent, or we're
00:37:41not fluent. For this,
00:37:43we have the shadowing exercise.
00:37:45This is a very
00:37:47very simple exercise and fun
00:37:49too. All we have to do
00:37:51is copy and echo whatever
00:37:53the speaker is saying, but
00:37:55it's important that the speaker should be
00:37:57a native speaker.
00:37:59So, let's begin now.
00:38:01It's really simple. I'll just play
00:38:03the video and copy whatever the main
00:38:05character is saying. If you want,
00:38:07you can switch on the subtitles.

00:41:27and in case Google Assistant is not able to understand what you're saying, it
00:41:33means that there's something wrong with your pronunciation and hence you need to
00:41:37improve it. Let's begin. Hello Google.
00:41:45That's me. How can I help? Can you talk to me? I'd love to talk to you. How's your
00:41:55day going? It's going wonderful. Thanks for sharing. You know what always makes
00:42:02me feel better on good or bad days? Ice cream? Music. It makes the good days great
00:42:12and the bad days a little better. If you want, I can sing you a song or if you're
00:42:16in the mood for something specific, you can say something like, play uplifting
00:42:20music. Can you sing a song for me? You've got a much better singing voice than me.
00:42:28How about I play a tune and you sing along? It's karaoke time. Oh no no, I'm
00:42:34not in the mood for singing right now. Why don't we just talk? Funny. Hello
00:42:45Google. How are you doing today? I'm fine and dandy. Thank you for asking. It's my
00:42:53pleasure. How extremely polite of you. Thank you. You are polite too. I do my
00:43:05best. What are you up to these days? I spend some of my time reading poetry. What
00:43:14kind of poetry? I like poetry. People learn to speak English for different
00:43:20reasons. They may have to travel, appear in an interview, deliver a presentation, a
00:43:27mother may need to speak to her child's teacher in English or they're just
00:43:31visiting a restaurant. Whatever the reason, it is a good idea to make a list
00:43:36of the different situations where you will need to speak English. Then, organize
00:43:41and make a database of different sentences according to that specific
00:43:46situation and you must practice those sentences. This will give you a good vocabulary
00:43:50accordingly. For interviews and public speaking, you'll have to introduce
00:43:55yourself formally and for social gatherings, you'll have to introduce
00:43:59yourself informally. By now, you and I are both aware that we cannot accomplish
00:44:06much by just studying grammar and by just reading the textbooks. Don't get me
00:44:12wrong, your textbooks are important and they're your foundation but we've got to
00:44:18do something much more than that. To master your speaking skills, you've got
00:44:23to work on them on a daily basis. The best way to do it is to make it a part
00:44:28of your daily routine. So, I'd like to suggest a study plan to you to help you
00:44:34improve your English learning and speaking skills. But before I do that,
00:44:38there are some more things that I'd like to talk to you about. These are the
00:44:43things that I had to learn by myself and nobody ever told me. Whatever I have to
00:44:49say to you is very critical for your success.
00:44:54First of all, write down your goals. Achieving your dreams often requires a
00:45:07combination of hard work and determination and English can also be an
00:45:13instrumental tool in getting there. Setting clear and achievable long-term
00:45:18and specific goals can help you stay focused and motivated throughout your
00:45:24English learning journey. Your long-term goals can be to, of course, achieve
00:45:30fluency in English and be able to communicate effectively in English and
00:45:35maybe you want to get into your dream university, maybe get that dream job.
00:45:41Perhaps you're planning to go on a trip. Your specific goals can be to improve
00:45:47your listening skills, practice speaking, building on your vocabulary and learn
00:45:52basic grammar etc. There will always be days when you won't feel like studying
00:45:58but learning to speak a new language is a process that requires discipline, time,
00:46:05effort, patience, willpower. You've got to be committed. You'll have to give
00:46:12sacrifices but it's not impossible. So set a goal and make your plan.
00:46:23You must believe that it is possible for you to speak English fluently. Imagine
00:46:31yourself. Many people have the desire to speak English but so many times they
00:46:38doubted themselves. They doubted their abilities. In order to achieve any goal
00:46:44including your English fluency goal, you must first believe that it is possible.
00:46:50We should always strive towards excellence and work hard while having
00:46:57faith that Allah will guide us towards success.
00:47:04You must observe people speaking in English in various situations. Even if
00:47:13you read a lot of books, get great teachers, attend many classes, you have to
00:47:20observe. Observe how native speakers of English communicate with each other. What
00:47:27do they talk about? What words do they use? What expressions do they use? Don't
00:47:33just rely on the dictionary. You have to observe. Because of the Internet, it is
00:47:39very easy to do that now. Watch movies, dramas, podcasts. But all of these things
00:47:48must have native speakers of English interacting with each other. You'll be
00:47:53amazed at how much your English fluency will improve after you start observing
00:47:58the English world.
00:48:04During your English learning journey, whenever you learn something new, use it
00:48:10immediately. If you read a chapter from a book, an article or a blog, write down
00:48:17its summary or the main points. Teach the main concept to one or two people.
00:48:23Whenever you come across a new word, phrase or expression during your
00:48:27listening and reading practice, write it down and make a sentence of it. You can
00:48:33also use it in a conversation with your parents, your siblings and colleagues,
00:48:38friends, etc. For instance, perplex is a word and the meaning of perplex is
00:48:44confused. You can just go up to your mom and say to her, hey mom, you know what? I
00:48:50was really perplexed last week.
00:48:55I have a student who whenever spoke to me in English, made a lot of grammatical
00:49:03mistakes. But whenever she talked about the topic in which she was interested, it
00:49:09seemed as if English was coming to her naturally because she was very
00:49:15passionate about it. She had lost her mother a couple of years ago and after
00:49:21that, her whole life had completely shattered and she used to cry all the
00:49:27time. She cried so much at the loss of her mother that she started losing her
00:49:32eyesight. But then she started studying the Quran and she found a lot of
00:49:39comfort with the word of God. And whenever she spoke to me about the Quran,
00:49:47it was as if English was coming to her naturally. So at a party or in the
00:49:54office or anywhere, whenever you try to have a conversation with somebody in
00:49:59English, try to talk about a topic in which you are really interested, you're
00:50:05passionate about and you have a lot of experience and knowledge.
00:50:17If you're interested in, you will get bored.
00:50:27Start following English-speaking influencers, youtubers, tiktokers and
00:50:34Instagram people. If you like lifestyle electronics and fitness, there are so
00:50:40many people who post about all these things. Start commenting under their
00:50:44posts. With time, you'll start understanding them and you'll become
00:50:49comfortable. There's so much content which is just remarkable and amazing.
00:50:56If you go to Google and type in the question that how do I improve my
00:51:01English-speaking skills, a very common answer is that talk to a person who's
00:51:07already fluent in English. Have a conversation with a native speaker of
00:51:12English. But this is not really possible for most of us. There is one solution. On
00:51:19Facebook, there are a lot of groups and communities of people who want to learn
00:51:24English or some other language. You can join those groups and reach out to
00:51:28different people and ask them if they're interested to practice and learn English
00:51:33or some other language. You may get a favorable reply and this will help you
00:51:39out. But I just wanted to warn you that be very very careful. Please take care of
00:51:44yourself because as you know, it's a dangerous world out there and just don't
00:51:51trust anybody too much. Don't give out any personal information. Don't readily
00:51:57try to meet somebody.
00:52:01Everybody wants to know how fast and how soon they can become fluent in English.
00:52:06That depends on a lot of things like what level of English are you at right
00:52:12now? At the beginner's level or the intermediary level? How much time are
00:52:17you spending with English on a daily basis? Five minutes or one hour? Of course,
00:52:23a person who's spending one hour on a daily basis with English is gonna become
00:52:28fluent much faster than a person who's merely spending five minutes. Are you
00:52:34using your textbook to become fluent in English? Then that'll be impossible. You
00:52:40need to naturally integrate English into your life. Start watching podcasts, movies,
00:52:46videos. You shouldn't be studying or practicing English for just two to three
00:52:52days in a week. You will have to make English a part of your life. You'll have
00:52:57to make it your priority. If you want to become fluent in English fast, then
00:53:02you'll have to totally immerse yourself in the language. You'll have to become
00:53:07obsessed with English. You'll have to eat, breathe and sleep English. I know all
00:53:13this is easier said than done but I've been there. I've done this and it really
00:53:19worked for me. Cut yourself off from your native language for 30 days and after 30
00:53:25days you'll see the difference. Listen and speak English a lot. Listen and
00:53:31repeat. Mimic and copy the native speakers of English and your accent
00:53:35and fluency is really gonna improve. The purpose is to create a natural
00:53:40environment for you to learn and speak English. Now it's about time we come to
00:53:45the plan. In order to achieve your English goals, you must have a clear plan.
00:53:51This is a 30-day plan which is easy to follow. According to this plan, you'll
00:53:56have to dedicate at least one hour every day. This is an outline. You can
00:54:02make changes as per your requirement.
00:54:07Can we really improve our language by just spending 40 to 60 minutes with it
00:54:13every day? Because many of us, we lead busy lives and we cannot give several
00:54:19hours in a day to learning the language. But hopefully, this plan will be able to
00:54:24fit into your daily routine. Every one of us comes from a different background.
00:54:29Everyone has a unique situation and everyone learns in a different manner. If
00:54:36there's anything that you'd like to add in the plan, go ahead. You're most welcome.
00:54:40Just don't overwhelm yourself. Don't get depressed. You have to work hard but you
00:54:47also have to work smart. Slow and steady wins the race. And if you're really
00:54:52passionate about achieving your goal, you'll find those 40 to 60 minutes every day.
00:54:58When you're trying to achieve anything, you need to first get organized. Your
00:55:04tools are very important. So you need to get a journal and divide it into three
00:55:09sections. Vocabulary and phrases section, an essay writing section, and a study
00:55:16notes section. Or you can get three separate journals for these activities.
00:55:21You will also need a dictionary. You can use Google for that or download an app
00:55:27on your phone. From Monday till Saturday, we'll be covering the four aspects of
00:55:34learning a language. Listening, reading, writing, and speaking. On Sundays, you can
00:55:41relax. Each day, we'll be focusing on one of these aspects. Ideally, to be able to
00:55:48speak fluently, you should be working on listening, reading, and speaking every day.
00:55:54Remember that doing a little every day is much better than piling up all the
00:56:00work for a couple of hours on Sunday. You can start by taking a free fluency test
00:56:06before you start working on your 30-day plan. There are several free online tests
00:56:11available to assess your English speaking, listening, writing, and
00:56:15comprehension skills. Apart from the ones mentioned, there are many other options
00:56:20available online. Please compare your test results at the end of the 30-day
00:56:25marathon. On day one, we'll be focusing on listening. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy
00:56:33yourself while watching your favorite YouTube video, a podcast, or drama of your
00:56:38choice for at least 30 minutes. Please remember to write down any 2-3 new
00:56:43sentences, phrases, or words that you heard. Then, practice the shadowing
00:56:48exercise. Focus on repeating what you hear.
00:56:54The main objective of this course is fluency. Fluency is the skill that you
00:57:00need to communicate. It is the ability to speak and understand instantly. You do
00:57:08not get fluency by just reading textbooks, going to school, or by studying
00:57:14grammar rules. Listening is the key. To be a fantastic English speaker, you must
00:57:22learn English with your ears and not just with your eyes. But, it must be
00:57:29understandable. If you don't understand, you learn nothing. Listen to each thing
00:57:37many times. On day 2, read out loud for at least 30
00:57:44minutes. Read articles and blogs related to your topic. Write down any new
00:57:49vocabulary words. Then, please practice speaking with technology like Google
00:57:53Assistant or any app or website. Reading is the best way to improve your
00:57:59vocabulary. If your goal is to learn new words and new expressions, then watching
00:58:05a video with captions can be very useful. While reading, underline the words
00:58:11and start using them in your conversations. Reading will also help
00:58:15with your sentence structures. Sometimes, we have the words, but we're not able to
00:58:20build sentence structures with them. Once you start reading, your grammar is going
00:58:26to improve by itself. If you're going to immerse yourself in learning a language,
00:58:31then grammar is going to come by itself. When you're going to read and listen
00:58:35more and more, your grammar will definitely improve. On day 3, practice
00:58:42speaking using the JAM technique. Spend some time writing down the main points.
00:58:47Initially, speak on topics you're really passionate about or topics that you're
00:58:52really interested in. After some time, you can move on to various topics. The reason
00:58:58we're not fluent is that we don't practice speaking regularly. Don't wait
00:59:03to become perfect. Every day means every day. Don't worry about making mistakes.
00:59:10Don't worry if you don't sound natural. If you're at the beginner or intermediary
00:59:16level, you'll have problems in speaking if you don't have any content. But if you
00:59:21have observed so many things, then you can easily speak 5 to 10 lines with
00:59:27confidence. When I was a little girl, I used to listen a lot and I used to read
00:59:33a lot. So I had something on my mind to hold a conversation. On day 4, you can
00:59:38record a video or an audio note. Record one video every week. Every week? That may
00:59:48sound scary. But it's not as hard as you think. You have a cell phone. Doesn't
00:59:55matter which cell phone. Just use it. You can see yourself talking about your day,
01:00:01your passions, hobbies, talk about your favorite movie, a memorable day in your
01:00:08life. This is important because this will help you track your progress as an
01:00:13English learner and help you be more comfortable speaking. You may not be
01:00:19there yet and sometimes you'll feel discouraged. But when you have videos
01:00:25once a week, you will realize that you're getting better with time. Day 5, focus on
01:00:32writing about your day. This is going to be really useful. Read an article or two,
01:00:37write down the main points, the summary on the main concept. Keep a journal. A
01:00:44journal is something you write in every day or once a week, whatever you choose.
01:00:49You can write about your day and what happened, some significant events. Write
01:00:55about your fears, your desires and emotions. It's a beautiful tool to work
01:01:00on your English because it's a great place to practice your tenses and to use
