00:00Hi there, this is just a quick message to let you know what's in the October issue of

00:10Northwest Business Insider.

00:12We've got the 42 Under 42, this is the 32nd annual 42 Under 42, and this year the event

00:20itself is going to be held at the AO Arena for the first time, so we're really excited

00:26about that.

00:27So what is the 42 Under 42?

00:29Well, this is Insider's exclusive club of young entrepreneurs under the age of 42.

00:37Why 42?

00:38Well, a long time ago somebody calculated that the average age of people in the power

00:44list was 52, so the idea of 42 Under 42 was to look at who's going to be there in 10 years

00:51time, who are going to be the top business leaders of the future.

00:56So every year we induct 42 entrepreneurs in the Northwest who are under the age of 42.

01:04Now this year we've got some fantastic entrants, we've got Paul Fox from Fox Brothers, recently

01:10in the news as he transformed a traditional business into something a little bit more

01:15known for its ESG credentials.

01:18We've got Eleanor Harry from Hays doing great work in helping companies eliminate child

01:24labour.

01:25We've also got Danny Wallace from I Am The Queen Bee, fantastic company name, an award-winning

01:31public speaking coach.

01:33And we've got, right on the cover here, Tom Davis is a former Everton player, and his

01:40company, what they do is they recycle chopsticks.

01:44So a lot of wooden chopsticks from things like Chinese restaurants will go to landfill,

01:52and what he does is he recycles them and enables them to be made into things like furniture.

01:58So what a great company, Chop Value they're called.
