00:00Did you see the highlight on Twitter of Rob Hunt just dishragging that dude out on the run?
00:05No.
00:06Oh.
00:06This is good.
00:08I think Dolphin King tagged us on it.
00:10So, the thing is, is I would like to, after, oh my goodness, so what I would like to do is,
00:24because a lot of times we get a little bit too excited over what we've seen on Sunday.
00:33So, I went back and looked at a couple of, you know, key moments in the game.
00:41And I would like to say that the offensive line was not as bad as it looked.
00:49It was Skylar.
00:49Because a lot of this goes hand in hand.
00:53And one of the things that Tua said that we all laughed at is very true.
01:00Is that he gets rid of the ball so quick.
01:02Well, brother.
01:04He gets rid of the ball so quick.
01:05It's not a knock on the offensive line.
01:07But it's more in lines of the way this operates when it is functioning well.
01:14They're not as inept as one would think.
01:17But they're not good either.
01:18Right.
01:19Well, but listen, it's on par with all, no matter what offense you're in,
01:24if you've watched football this year, if you don't get rid of the ball quick,
01:29your quarterback's getting jacked up.
01:30Oh, yeah.
01:31So, I don't know if it's a defensive thing.
01:35Right?
01:36A defensive player would say it's a defensive thing.
01:39Or if it's an offensive thing.
01:43I don't know.
01:45But I do know that there was a lot of opportunities there.
01:51And a lot of chances that, for reasons, there was a play I watched where
01:58Scholar was looking at the receiver coming open.
02:03And the problem is, if you throw it when he's open, it's too late.
02:06Yeah, Tua throws it right into the spot.
02:08Right.
02:08And so he kind of, he kind of didn't throw it.
02:11And so you could see him going to pull the trigger and seeing him come open.
02:15And this is the thing that just drives me nuts about.
02:17Like, there were a couple plays.
02:18I even told you, I'm like, he looks like he's doing a bad Tua impression.
02:22You know, like when he's doing the no looks and he's just like, it's just,
02:24it's not the same, dude.
02:26Like, and the thing that I just found frustrating about is for a guy,
02:30I know that the one QB gets most of the reps, but Tua wasn't a contract
02:34dispute in OTAs and minicamp.
02:36I would have thought that would have been, yeah, I would have thought that
02:39I just would have thought that would have been a Skylar plan.
02:41And so I don't know if it's just him sucking and that could just be it.
02:44He just may suck.
02:47But I just would have thought Mike would have had him in better places to
02:49succeed.
02:50You know what you call a bad player or an average player with one more year
02:55of experience?
02:56What you call a bad player, an average player.
02:59We tend to think and sometimes we do this too much that, oh, this guy was
03:08this and now with another year of experience, he'll be this.
03:12Yeah, and we make that assumption all the time and it's not always true.
03:16Justice Winslow.
03:18Justice Winslow been Justice Winslow for how many years?
03:20I thought Justice Winslow was going to start making layups at one point.
03:22Right, but I'm just saying that's who he is.
03:25So that's the fine line between trying to figure out who's going to be a
03:31player and who's not.
03:32You got to be able to kind of see what portions of that player will and can
03:39get better.
03:40The one thing that doesn't always get better.
03:44With quarterbacks is timing.
03:47If you're a guy that holds on to the ball throughout your career, that's
03:52normally what you're going to be.
03:54I don't know how much you buy into the pro football focus thing because
03:56they got those hocus-pocus stats, but they did blame.
03:59They do sack blame.
04:01They blamed five of the six sacks on the QB.
04:03Yeah, I could not that I like I rewatched some of the game.
04:08I could see it.
04:08By the way, you're bold.
04:10Huh?
04:11You're bold going back and watch.
04:12Here's the difference between me and most people and I tell you this all
04:14the time.
04:16It's easy to put blame.
04:18It's easy to say it was his fault.
04:19It's easy for me to say it's offensive line.
04:21It's easy for me to say this.
04:22I want to know why I want to know why so that we know if there's really a
04:28fix and the fact of the matter is there is Tyler Huntley.
04:33I don't know.
04:34You can't just assume that he can come in and be a different quarterback
04:37than he's been.
04:38I can't look.
04:39I can't you're just saying anybody else.
04:41That's what and well, but let's also I mean the guy did get apparently
04:45his ribs cracked, you know, and well, I think it was said that he couldn't
04:48dress himself after the game.
04:49Health is one thing.
04:51Okay, we're not talking about health.
04:53The same thing I said about to everything LD suggestions and advice
04:57that everybody's getting to it.
04:59It's a move point until he's cleared to play right that then you give
05:03your advice if he can play though, you would you would roll him out
05:06there one more time.
05:07Oh Skylar.
05:08Oh now with them ribs now that would be put you're taking a guy who
05:14holds on to the ball who uses his torso to throw the ball and you're
05:18going to put him back out there.
05:19You're asking for him to get his ass kicked and it would be on him
05:24but you're not going to boil.
05:28Snoop, dude.
05:36I like again.
05:39What they need to figure out during the course of the week.
05:44And this is a fact.
05:46This is you don't care who can make all the throws what you need right
05:51now is a quarterback who has the balls to make the throws right
05:55because because Skylar is to tend and would you do you want to give
06:01a minus one for that?
06:02I do like he you can I just say he is the only guy I've ever done
06:10the show with that'll look at me and go and go and go.
06:18Wow, this is too much damn football talk.
06:21How can I ruin it?
06:22It's serious, right?
06:24Drop it like it's hot, right?
06:26Like it's like like you have the sports attention span of a child.
06:34You don't you can't do any time.
06:36I talk to you about football.
06:38You look at me and you like these out here being so right.
06:43Like don't you want to know or you just want to throw bum guns at
06:46people Street and says sipping on fin and juice.
06:54So here's the problem like it.
06:59And I don't this is not a good way to go into a game.
07:05But you need a quarterback that going not afraid to throw three
07:08picks.
07:09Yeah, cut it loose.
07:10Right and and and that's it's hard to put somebody in that spot.
07:17And but they'll do it.
07:19That's who and and you know, why Browns fans love Joe Flacco.
07:23That's the way Joe was.
07:24Yeah, come right baby.
07:25Who cares?
07:26He was 13 touchdowns and eight picks and I better not see Tanner
07:29Connor go deep again.
07:31I better I better I better not see that.
07:33Why?
07:34Oh, you know why dude you saw it because I know why because you
07:40want that to be a guy.
07:41Yeah.
07:43Oh, excuse me paid 50 million for these receivers.
07:46And I'm watching an Idaho State run down the field.
07:51I just think that from the top to the bottom.
07:58Everybody tried to be so careful.
08:03That it almost hamstrung the whole offense and it's from Mike
08:08McDaniel who he's only looking at the quarterback as what I
08:12can and can't do with him.
08:14So he's trying to protect him right from Schuyler who his the
08:21message before the week was as you can tell with way Michaels
08:25talking no turnovers, right?
08:29So that made him hold the ball and not throw it.
08:33And it just the it just hamstrung the whole offense.
08:37So I don't know how to go about it because you don't want to
08:42quarterback not caring about pigs and being too careless, but
08:46at the same time you want him if he's looking in the right
08:50direction to make the damn throw.
08:52I just feel like you're going to do a game here and you still
08:57have the two best players on the field and you got to make
08:59him some kind of a threat.
09:00You got to make him at least you know what I would do once.
09:04I would line up Jalen Waddle and Tyreek on the same side of
09:08the ball.
09:09Now the way this becomes important is whoever's on the other
09:14side has to be a guy that can make a play one-on-one because
09:19they're going to take they're going to rotate.
09:21They're going to put safeties down.
09:23They're going to put a single you might get a single high safety
09:27with this look but on the backside, whoever that guy is is
09:31going to be one-on-one.
09:33And I just think that you need to just use them in different
09:38ways or or here's an interesting thought.
09:42I'm gonna just say this like.
09:45And and I'm more than sure that if I'm Steven Ross, I've looked
09:49on to the field and notice this.
09:52Why in the hell is Tyreek or Waddle on the field?
09:58Waddle off the field.
09:59Yes, one of them have to be on the field at all times.
10:02Of course, when both of them are standing next to each other
10:05when 95% of your picks come to know situations make zero sense
10:09zero sense.
10:09So like I get it you guys need to take breaks and I don't have
10:14problem with that.
10:15You run your ass off the whole game.
10:17I get that but collectively.
10:21Right because guess what me and Robert?
10:25We play the same position, but here's what happened.
10:28They would say hey, one of y'all need to be on the field, right?
10:34Y'all know y'all know what y'all do.
10:36One of y'all need to be on the field and that's and so that's
10:40what like it's okay to go to Tyreek and Waddle and say hey,
10:45one of y'all need to be on the field at all times figure it
10:49out.
10:50Are you got what?
10:5350 million on the sideline watching your quarterback throw
10:55picks insane.
10:56It's insane.
10:57Yep.
10:58So let's start there.
11:00Now, let's be creative with it.
11:03Let's move one or two around.
11:05I know you got motions and whatever but could you imagine
11:08seeing Waddle and Tyreek on the same side of the field?
11:11I think it's one of these things where Mike McDaniel sitting
11:13there and he goes, you know, authenticity is the greatest
11:15energy write that down and I'm like, no, the greatest energy
11:17is having your stars on the field.
11:20That's what I want.
11:22You just I just want funny man to start getting the football.
11:24Let's go.
11:25It's enough of him around this energy wave.
11:27You can give off his authenticity write that down.
11:30Got to stay hydrated.
11:31Tramp champ.
11:33He was locked and loaded.
