00:05Fans love to argue about certain players that don't get the recognition they deserve.

00:10Who are the 10 most disrespected players in football today, you ask? Well, let's get into it.

00:15We'll start with Rodrigo. He doesn't always get the respect he deserves in the football community,

00:33especially when you look at all the amazing talent Real Madrid already has.

00:36Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, Valverde, and now with Mbappe and Dendrick. It's easy to overlook

00:42him, but Rodrigo is versatile and has stepped up for Madrid when it matters most,

00:46scoring key goals in clutch moments. Just ask Man City and Chelsea fans.

00:51Lately, the disrespect toward Rodrigo's ex-teammate, Casemiro, has gotten out of hand.

00:57Sure, his performance against Liverpool was probably one of his worst,

01:00but people are acting like he's not even a professional player anymore.

01:03Let's not forget that this is the same Casemiro who was part of one of the most

01:06dominant midfields in recent history, alongside Kroos and Modric.

01:10It's so sad that this looks like a distant memory.

01:13Casemiro's Manchester United and Brazil teammate who's been the poster boy of getting disrespected

01:19is Anthony. Every time this guy has been in the news, it's for all the wrong reasons.

01:24His meaningless spins, his bad form, and his girlfriend's accusations are just some examples

01:29of it. Anthony has become a meme. It was like United signed a successor to Harry Maguire.

01:35Let's switch to the other Manchester team. The beast himself, Erling Haaland.

01:39People love to throw around terms like tapping merchant or, say,

01:43disappears in big games, but those claims are just ridiculous.

01:48First off, it's literally a striker's job to be in the right place at the right time,

01:51so if Haaland's scoring from close range, that means he's doing his job perfectly.

01:56Plus, good defenders tend to focus on him,

01:58which creates space and freedom for his teammates in crucial matches.

02:02He's only 24. Just think about how hard it'll be to stop him when he hits his prime.

02:06Now, let's talk about a player who is in his prime right now.

02:10We are seeing Mohamed Salah getting seriously disrespected by the Liverpool board right now.

02:15I mean, this guy has been the Reds' best attacker during their rise under Klopp,

02:23Yet, here we are with Salah in the last year of his contract and no new deal in sight from FSG.

02:29Renewing his contract should be a no-brainer. He's not just a Liverpool legend,

02:36If they fear that he's slowing down, just look at this guy's form.

02:45Ex-Liverpool player Raheem Sterling definitely got a rough deal

02:49after Chelsea's massive summer shopping spree.

02:52With so many new wingers coming in,

02:53it was clear from day one that new head coach Enzo Maresca had no plans for Sterling.

02:58Things got ugly fast.

03:00Sterling wasn't even allowed to train with the first team or travel with them.

03:04After spending over a decade in the Premier League with top clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City,

03:09it was pretty shocking to see him treated like a third division player.

03:31But for some reason, the Napoli management never really gave him the respect he deserved.

03:53The next player who's definitely been disrespected by France football is Jamal Musiala.

03:59When the top 30 list for the 2024 Ballon d'Or came out,

04:02fans were shocked to see his name missing.

04:04It's pretty obvious to anyone who's been watching football

04:07that Musiala has been one of the top performers,

04:09both for Bayern and on the international stage.

04:12He racked up over 20 goal contributions last season

04:16and even won the golden boot at the European Championship this summer.

04:19But somehow, that still wasn't enough for him to get a nomination.

04:23Ridiculous, right?

04:24From one Bayern Munich player to another.

04:27Leon Goretzka is definitely not having the best time in Germany right now.

04:31First, Julian Nagelsmann left him out of the Euro squad,

04:34and then new head coach Vincent Kompany didn't even include him in the squad

04:40When Goretzka finally got back into the team,

04:42it wasn't even in his usual midfield spot.

04:44He barely got five to seven minutes as a centre-back.

04:51but Kompany quickly downplayed his chances

04:59selling him over the summer because of his high wages.

05:03Finally, it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo just can't catch a break,

05:16But somehow, people are still saying he's bad for Portugal.
