00:00There are so many witnesses. There are so many victims.
00:04Welcome to Ms. Mojo. And today, we're looking at celebrities who spoke out against Sean Combs,
00:09aka P. Diddy, before his 2024 arrest and indictment.
00:14We're just starting to scratch the surface of what this case,
00:18who this case is going to touch and involve.
00:22Kanye West. In retrospect, we should have read between the lines whenever somebody
00:27described a puffy party. In a 2014 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians,
00:31Khloe recalled attending a Diddy party where everyone was, quote,
00:34"...butt naked."
00:36Stop talking.
00:37Have you met Khloe's new crew of friends?
00:40And all I said was, yes. And then I stopped talking.
00:44All I said was yes.
00:45Khloe's former brother-in-law, Kanye West, also made comments concerning Diddy that read
00:50differently now. In 2022, West called Sean Combs a, quote,
00:55claiming he had sold people out to spare himself from jail time.
00:58That's why you gotta come at me, because part of the deal for you to be a do-all-that-da-da-da-da
01:03and get out of jail is that you promise that you gonna go pull my co-car.
01:07Since West is infamous for making wild, often unfounded, accusations,
01:11these statements initially blended in with his other tirades.
01:15Even now, it's hard to say if West's allegations were authentic.
01:18Given Combs' current legal issues, though, West's words feel like a warning.
01:23Whether or not he truly had any inside information.
01:26I don't know if it's a party. I'm saying that metaphorically, you know what I'm saying?
01:28But you've heard about the parties that everyone is talking about. But you've never
01:31got invited to them, so you… I don't know a party. I don't even know what
01:34the party is. That's how far out of it I am. Usher.
01:37When he was just getting his foot in the music industry's door,
01:40a 13-year-old Usher spent a year living with Combs.
01:43Usher opened up about this experience in a 2016 interview with Howard Stern.
01:47Does he have you doing any chores? Are you doing dishes at all? I mean,
01:50to keep you humble somewhat? Or are you just like,
01:53can you stay up till 4 in the morning with them and party?
01:55I mean, I could. I actually stayed up longer than them.
01:57Although he made it sound like a blast, Usher hinted at something more
02:01disturbing beneath the surface. Usher said that he didn't, quote,
02:04understand what he was even looking at. And, quote, very curious things were taking place.
02:09I went there to see the lifestyle. And I saw it. And it was…
02:13But I don't know if I could indulge and understand what I was even looking at.
02:17Perhaps most telling, Usher made it clear that he wouldn't want his children attending, quote,
02:22puffy camp like their father. Regardless, Usher's protégé,
02:25Justin Bieber, would spend 48 hours with Combs. It may just be speculation,
02:30but a fake phone number that Bieber later gave Combs now reads like a cry for help.
02:34I mean, you try to get in contact with me, you know, through all my, you know,
02:37partners and whatnot. But you never really got my number, so…
02:42Right, okay.
02:42My number?
02:43Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:43I'm gonna tell you my number.
02:44Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:45Yeah, yeah.
02:46It's 555.
02:46Yes, okay.
02:475555.
02:49Mase. In addition to breaking out as Diddy's hype man in the 90s,
02:53Mason Durell Betha, or Mase, released three studio albums through Bad Boy Records.
02:58Mase eventually had a falling out with Combs and his record label.
03:01I never got paid what I was worth, and I never got the respect I was worth.
03:06So the disdain that I got for Puff is more like, you trying to keep me here?
03:12Leading up to his former collaborator's arrest,
03:15Mase claimed Combs cheated him with a $20,000 publishing deal
03:18and had been withholding royalties for decades.
03:22In a 2022 interview, Combs asserted that Mase owed him $3 million.
03:27That's facts, I got the receipt.
03:29Second album, you gave him money to do a second album, never delivered.
03:31Did the album, never delivered, you know what I'm saying?
03:33And I'm not gonna go back and forth with Mase, you know what I'm saying?
03:36I'm not going back and forth with nobody.
03:37Combs nevertheless returned the publishing rights to Mase
03:40and several other Bad Boy artists the following year.
03:43Although Mase was among the first to call Combs out over royalties, he wouldn't be the last.
03:48In 2024, former bandmate Don Richards sued Combs,
03:52citing, among other things, roughly $5 million in unpaid earnings.
03:57Don had the choice to file the case as a Jane Doe, and she chose not to do that.
04:01After giving it a fair amount of thought, she wants accountability, she wants justice.
04:06Cat Williams.
04:07I sure hope I have a club shay-shay after this year.
04:10It's gonna be in a dimension it's never been in.
04:13Yeah, it's gonna be, it's gonna be.
04:15The greatest thing floating in 2024.
04:16I might be out of business.
04:17Watch the words, no way.
04:20In a whole different realm of business.
04:22Comedian Cat Williams is no stranger to run-ins with the law and reported abusive behavior.
04:27As such, it's understandable why some would call Williams' credibility into question.
04:31In January 2024, though, Williams made several remarks
04:35about Combs that only became more relevant in the months to come.
04:38On Shannon Sharpe's Club Shay-Shay podcast,
04:41Williams touched upon the now-notorious ditty parties, advising people to just say no.
04:46And you gotta tell him no.
04:48You've got to tell him no.
04:50I did.
04:52I did.
04:52See, I got the receipts for everything I'm telling you.
04:54That's why I can say them so freely.
04:56Cat, I need a note.
04:57While his reasons were somewhat vague,
04:59Williams was especially concerned about protecting a certain area of his body.
05:03Williams didn't elaborate further,
05:05although he took another shot at Combs later in the interview.
05:08I know how blessed I am.
05:09If I look at it, I got it.
05:12That's how Diddy be feeling.
05:13Come on, man.
05:18The recent allegations regarding Combs' quote,
05:20"'freak out' parties and alleged abuse have painted Williams' words in a whole new light.
05:25Aubrey O'Day
05:26What do Donald Trump and Diddy have in common?
05:29Well, arguably, quite a few things.
05:31But singer-slash-reality star Aubrey O'Day is one of them.
05:34Once mentored by Combs,
05:36O'Day later appeared on the fifth season of The Celebrity Apprentice.
05:39I am a very strict and focused businesswoman because
05:43working for Diddy for six years trained me to have to be perfect.
05:47Working for Diddy?
05:48Absolutely.
05:49I love Diddy.
05:49When O'Day brought up her association with Diddy,
05:52Trump was quick to shower him with praise.
05:54O'Day tiptoed around her former boss,
05:56unwilling to say if he was a quote,
05:58"'good guy,' as Trump described him.
06:00I don't want to answer that question.
06:01Oh, well, I think he's a good guy.
06:03I'm going to stick up for him."
06:05During a 2019 interview with Variety,
06:08O'Day went into greater detail.
06:10Discussing her time on the Diddy-produced Making the Band,
06:13O'Day said, quote,
06:14"'We were scared to death with what would happen with Puff each day.
06:17I experienced everything from race remarks to sexism,
06:20and a lot of it was scary.'"
06:21I was listening to Gene Deal, his bodyguard.
06:24Yeah, I talked to him yesterday.
06:25Really?
06:26Yeah.
06:27Because he had a really astonishing quote.
06:29You should hear the one he's not saying.
06:31It's even crazier.
06:32Right.
06:33So he's got stuff in the tuck that he hasn't put out there?
06:36Everybody does.
06:37Wendy Williams
06:39I have broken up with somebody.
06:40Who?
06:41I don't want to, I don't want to say.
06:42Do we know the person?
06:44Maybe.
06:44Okay.
06:45After being fired from Hot 97 in 1998,
06:48Wendy Williams accused Combs of playing a role.
06:50In 2004, Williams wrote that she would, quote,
06:53"'never forget the hell' Combs put her through."
06:56Even so, Williams said that she didn't hate Combs.
06:58On a 2015 episode of her show,
07:01Williams commented on the allegations that Kasey Ventura was hiding from Combs.
07:05This is a beautiful dress, by the way, that she has on.
07:08And Puffy, you look great for all the hard partying.
07:12Williams painted Combs as a, quote,
07:14"'mogul' you can't escape."
07:16The same year, Williams asked Jennifer Lopez
07:18if she would ever get back together with Combs.
07:20Lopez's mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez,
07:23basically answered for her daughter with a look that said everything.
07:27Although they reconciled in 2017,
07:29viewers have been waiting on pins and needles
07:31to hear Williams' thoughts about Combs in the wake of his arrest.
07:34You are exhausting me.
07:35Let me tell you something.
07:37This week has been hella exhausting.
07:3950 Cent.
07:40Curtis James Jackson III, aka 50 Cent,
07:43is another big name who's had a long-standing feud with Combs.
07:47It all started with 50 Cent's 2006 diss track,
07:50The Bomb,
07:50which alleged that Combs was connected to the murder of Biggie Smalls.
07:54Be scared them boys from the west side of work them off.
07:57There's still little concrete evidence backing up that conspiracy theory.
08:01In October 2023, though,
08:0350 Cent elaborated on his beef with Diddy,
08:05describing his parties as, quote,
08:07"'uncomfortable.'"
08:08That's not really beef, though.
08:09That's just competitive.
08:11Competitiveness.
08:12All right, so you and Diddy, you and Puff cool?
08:14No, I don't really rock with him.
08:16During his final app tour,
08:1750 Cent said Diddy would, quote,
08:19"'hug you from the front and the back at the same time.'"
08:2250 Cent has been even more vocal about Combs following the raid on his homes.
08:26It's also been reported that 50 Cent sold a docuseries to Netflix entitled,
08:30Did He Do It?
08:37Tupac Shakur.
08:38Speaking of conspiracies,
08:3950 Cent has also claimed that Combs got Tupac killed.
08:42Again, there isn't much backing this up.
08:45Although, Tupac was also skeptical of Combs.
08:47If these rumors or allegations are true,
08:50it would make sense he would be able to get away from it,
08:53or get away with it for so long because people would be afraid.
08:56Speaking with Vibe magazine in 1995,
08:58Shakur was asked if he thought Combs was connected to his shooting the previous year.
09:02Shakur did not hold back, saying, quote,
09:05"'I believe so.'"
09:06Adding that, quote,
09:07"'It's between me and him, and only he knows.'"
09:10I have proof, things that I can say that would back up my claim,
09:13but this is not for the world to know about.
09:15About a year later, Shakur was involved in another shooting,
09:18this one proving fatal.
09:20Dwayne Keefe D. Davis, who was arrested for Tupac's murder in 2023,
09:24once said that Combs offered $1 million to carry out Shakur's assassination.
09:28I think that was a bad move, dude, you know what I'm saying?
09:31It took me heat.
09:33Yeah, but show some love, brother, love.
09:35Whether or not Combs was involved,
09:37Shakur's words paint the portrait of a violent man.
09:40Rodney Lil Rod Jones
09:42While Combs has faced numerous accusations throughout the years,
09:45Rodney Lil Rod Jones was among the first to take serious legal action,
09:48contributing to the mogul's current circumstances.
09:51Jones was a producer on Combs' The Love album, Off the Grid.
09:55According to Jones, though, he, quote,
09:57"'endured' many things that went far beyond his role as a producer."
10:00Claims made by Jones include hidden cameras in the rap mogul's home,
10:03saying, quote,
10:04"'Mr. Combs allegedly threatened to eat Mr. Jones's face
10:07in order to get what he wants.'"
10:09Jones alleged that Combs repeatedly groped him
10:11and made him participate in unwanted sexual activities.
10:14This included having to work in the bathroom as Combs showered.
10:18What's more, Jones claimed that he woke up naked in bed with Combs
10:21and two sex workers after being drugged.
10:23His lawsuit also implicates Combs' son Justin,
10:26and Chief of Staff Christina Coram, the latter of whom was accused of grooming.

10:52Cassie Ventura, this model-turned-singer,
10:54was in a relationship with Combs from 2007 to 2018.
10:58There had been signs of trouble in Paradise.
11:00Their relationship was volatile, for sure.
11:09And he, like, you could tell that she was afraid of him.
11:15In 2015, Ventura shared an image of a sleeping baby, posting,
11:19quote,
11:20"...how I sleep, knowing that I'm single and nobody cheating on me."
11:23The next year, it was reported that the two were seen arguing in Beverly Hills.
11:27They went into the bedroom and shut the door,
11:30and all I could hear is screaming and yelling
11:34and whatever was going on in there, I don't know.
11:37Five years after their final breakup, Ventura filed a lawsuit against Combs,
11:41accusing him of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sex trafficking.
11:45Although Combs denied these claims, the lawsuit would be settled out of court.
11:49This wasn't the end, as footage from 2016 surfaced.
11:52It appears to corroborate Cassie's claims identically.
11:57Really, Jake, the lawsuit lines up with exactly what we are seeing.
12:01Combs issued an apology,
12:02while many have supported Ventura for marking the beginning of his downfall.
12:06What other celebrity accounts have you looking at Diddy differently?
12:09Let us know in the comments.
12:11I have my own opinion, but I wouldn't slam their name like they did mine.
