O'Connell hails crowds impact as Vikings thrash Texans

00:00This building was special today I thought our fans were phenomenal. For

00:05budget reasons we can't give every single one of our fans a game ball but

00:09they certainly deserve it and really really appreciate the energy from the

00:13jump. Five false starts by the Texans today. They're part of the formula here

00:18at US Bank Stadium. They deserve to be able to show up and hopefully enjoy what

00:24they see on the field for three and a half hours every op we get. Offensively

00:28I thought Sam Darnold was really really good all day long. Smart, really decisive,

00:34took care of the football, accurate. We were good on third down. We hit some

00:39chunks when we needed to. Didn't expose ourselves to negative football outside

00:44of some of the self-inflicted things that I've got to get cleaned up to keep

00:47us traveling forward throughout our possessions. I think like I said last

00:52week you know defense balled out today. Special teams balled out, did their thing.

00:57You know obviously we were able to execute at a high level in the red zone.
