00:00Former Bamban Mayor Alice Guwo will remain in Pasig City Jail after being transferred to Campo Krame.

00:06Guwo is also negative for tuberculosis and other infections

00:10based on the results of the laboratory test conducted by BGMP this afternoon.

00:21Guwo Huaping will remain in Pasig City Jail.

00:25He is better known as former Bamban Tarlac Mayor Alice Leal Guwo

00:29after the 3rd order of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 167

00:34which canceled his 2nd decision when he was transferred to Pasig City Jail from Camp Krame.

00:41The RTC 167 issued a halt order at 2 p.m.

00:46After being transferred to Pasig City Jail Female Dormitory,

00:49Guwo was transferred at 9 a.m. following the transfer order on September 19.

00:55But according to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology or BJMP,

00:59the halt order is already moot or there is no visa

01:02because Guwo is already under their custody in Pasig City Jail when it was issued.

01:07The hearing on September 27 will not continue

01:10for the appeal of the transfer of Guwo to PNP custody.

01:14Meanwhile, Guwo is negative for tuberculosis and other infections

01:19based on the results of the laboratory test conducted by BJMP this afternoon.

01:24This was after Guwo's left lung was infected

01:27when his medical examination was conducted at PNP General Hospital

01:32before he was brought to Pasig City Jail.

01:34According to BJMP Spokesperson Jail Superintendent Jarex Bustinera,

01:38he will be placed in a cell with more than 40 persons deprived of liberty or PDL.

01:45As a policy, we repeatedly say no VIP treatment.

01:50And if we isolate him from others or if he is alone or even if there are few of them there,

01:55doesn't it send a message of VIP? We don't want that.

02:00The legal counsel of Guwo, Attorney Nicole Jamila, is also defending

02:04that Guwo is still being treated and it is obvious that he is sick

02:08because he suddenly lost weight.

02:10The hearing for the non-bailable case of qualified human trafficking

02:15against Guwo by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission

02:19and PNP-CIDG in Pasig City RTC Branch 167.
