The Yorkshire Integration Festival was held at Piece Hall, Halifax, West Yorkshire, with the special guest - Little Amal a 3.5-metre high manually operated, partly-animatronic giant puppet made for a performance art project called The Walk. The name Amal means "hope" in Arabic. and Little Amal represents a nine-year-old Syrian refugee girl who, in The Walk project, travels alone across Europe to find her mother.
