00:00Hi everyone, Sjef from Outdoors in the Low Countries and in this video we are going to
00:03compare three different pressure washers, the Carragher 5.5 Jubilee, the Lever Wash
00:08LS21, an old system, but don't underestimate it, and the only blue one, the Güde GHD225,
00:15also known under a local brand in the Low Countries as Waterland.
00:18Let's also have a look at the specifications of these three systems.
00:23The Carragher 5.5 Jubilee has an engine power of 1.9 kW, a water operating pressure of 120
00:29bars, with a water flow of 6.7 liters a minute.
00:34The Lever Wash LS21 has an engine power of 2.1 kW, water operating pressure of 110 bars,
00:41with 6.9 liters a minute.
00:43And the strongest of the three is the Güde GHD225, also sold in the Low Countries under
00:48Waterland HD225MD, with an engine power of 3.2 kW, water operating pressure of 150 bars,
00:56with a water flow of 7.5 liters a minute.
00:59And we will compare these pressure washers on two different jobs, the first one is cleaning
01:03of a teak chair, and the second one is cleaning of clinkers.
01:06So let's do the test.
01:08So let's have a look at cleaning this teak chair, a typical job that we need to do for
01:13cleaning all the dirt.
01:14I am first going to use the rotating turbo nozzle, and then later on I will use the angle
01:19nozzle.
01:20So let's see which performs best at this.
01:22I will start with the Kärcher, then the Lever Wash, and the Güde at last.
01:48I did a first test with the rotating turbo nozzle.
01:53And to be honest, I don't think it did a very good job on it.
02:01So let's now take the other nozzle as well.
02:23So the Kärcher does the job, but I am not very impressed with the cleaning performance
02:29of this machine.
02:30It somehow seems like it is lacking some water pressure.
02:35So let's now move on to the next one, the Lever Wash LS21.
02:39Also here I will first start with the turbo nozzle.
02:41That's not good.
03:12So, this happens when you put a water hose like this, freeze in the winter, and sometimes
03:21it can get damaged, and the rupture with high pressure is the result.
03:26OK, so how can you fix it with some tape and a hose clamp to reinforce it?
03:33And it's now tight again, so let's continue the test.
03:42So it's clearly that the cleaning performance of the Lever Wash Turbo is much better than
03:58the Kärcher one.
03:59So let's now go to the other nozzle.
04:12So the Lever Wash clearly outperforms the Kärcher, both on the rotor nozzle as well
04:18as the normal nozzle.
04:19So let's now also test the last one, the QD QHD 225 or the Waterland HD 225, first with
04:27the turbo rotor and then with the normal nozzle.
04:42So for the turbo rotor I think that the Lever Wash and the QHD more or less have the same
04:51type of performance.
04:52Maybe the QHD is a little bit stronger because you can feel it a little bit better pushing
04:56back, but on the other hand, looking at the cleaning, I don't think there's a large difference
05:00there.
05:01Now I'm going to switch to the yellow nozzle and compare that one.
05:04With the yellow nozzle, the spray angle is 15 degrees.
05:11Now let's also find out while the pressure washer is cleaning the bricks.
05:42Now yellow gives a very nice result indeed.
05:47And the turbo nozzle.
06:02That went quite well.
06:05So let's now try the Kärcher as well.
06:12Way less powerful beam.
06:20Let's try the turbo rotor.
06:42The rotor beam cleaning goes relatively well, although you really feel you have much less
06:54output power compared to the QHD.
06:58So Lever Wash is next.
07:12Less powerful compared to the QHD, but surely much more powerful than the Kärcher.
07:18Now let's also switch towards the turbo.
07:21So after doing the test, I think the lowest performance is given by the Kärcher 5.5 UBLAE.
07:42To be honest, you really feel that the pressure of the water is much lower than of the other
07:47two systems, and in that sense also the cleaning performance is a little bit poorer than with
07:53the other two.
07:55And I must say that given the lower water pressure of this system, the cleaning performance
07:58of the rotor nozzle is actually not even that bad.
08:01So I think it's a good design of the rotor nozzle, but all in all, this system gives
08:06lower performance than the other two.
08:08And the second best performance is given by this grandpa, the LS2-1 from Lever Wash.
08:13An old system, but still a very good system.
08:16And especially the rotor nozzle is giving a very, very good performance.
08:19And since you really feel that the water pressure of this system is lower than with the Güde,
08:25the rotor nozzle performance is not even that different.
08:28So I think the design of the rotor nozzle is very good of the Lever Wash.
08:32Now the overall best performance, according to my opinion, is given by the blue system,
08:36the Güde GHD 225.
08:40It clearly has the highest water pressure, you can really feel it holding the gun, and
08:43also the cleaning performance is really good.
08:45The angled nozzles, with the different colors and the different angles, give a very, very
08:50good performance.
08:51I think that the rotor nozzle in that sense could be even improved, because the difference
08:55with the other systems isn't even that large, although it has a higher water pressure.
08:59So I think that the design of the turbo nozzle can be even better, but still it has also
09:04there a very good performance.
09:06And the whole concept of clickable nozzles I also really like on this system.
09:10So, for me, this is the winner of this test.
09:13So I hope you enjoyed the video about the comparison of these pressure washers.
09:17Thanks for watching and see you next time.
