Guitar lesson/tutorial on how to play "Someday" by Sugar Ray. It's basically only the beginning riff. I guess there's not much more to say haha. AS USUAL, DON'T TAKE IT TOO SERIOUSLY!

00:00Hey, what's up everybody, and welcome back to another video.
00:15Today's going to be my first time doing Sugar Ray, Someday.
00:18It's going to be just kind of the main little melody.
00:21Anyways, if you like the video, please hit that like button.
00:26Subscribe down below.
00:27Sugar Ray, Someday. Stick around.
00:31My guitar is tuned down a half step.
00:33And, by the way, my B string is horrible when I play it open.
00:38And I have tried to mess with the intonation.
00:42So it starts with open B, one on the G, and two on the D.
00:47Kind of muted.
00:51I mean, I'm playing on an electric, and they're playing on an acoustic.
00:55So you can probably let it ring out on an acoustic, I guess.
00:58It doesn't really matter.
01:00Yeah, so open B, one, G, two, D.
01:06Again, mine sounds lower.
01:10See how that open B sounds?
01:12Clang, clang.
01:14Okay, so that's the little beginning.
01:16Okay, so the other part is...
01:27Sorry.
01:37Okay, so what that is, is four, D.
01:42Two G, two B, and two E.
01:47So...
01:49Four, two, two, two.
01:55You can palm mute. I'm palm muting it just so it doesn't ring out.
01:59You won't be able to hear it as clear.
02:02I don't know, really, if you have to palm mute.
02:04Again, this is acoustic, so on acoustic, you can just let it ring out.
02:07Yeah, so four, two, two, two.
02:10Then open E.
02:18And then four, five, four, hammer-on, pull-off, B.
02:25Two, B, and then ending on a four, G.
02:29And I'm avoiding hitting the open G.
02:31You could do an open G, but I'm doing the four on...
02:33I mean open B, but I'm doing a four on the G. It's the same note.
02:39So...
02:50Sorry.
03:04So, again, open G, open B.
03:06One G, two D.
03:08And then four, two, two, two.
03:10And then open E.
03:13And then four, hammer-on, pull-off, five to four.
03:17Four, five, four.
03:18To two, two, four on the G.
03:23And then, of course, there's way more parts to the song.
03:26But like I said, just the main melody.
03:28It's a cool little lick to get down.
03:31It sounds cool on an acoustic guitar, too.
03:33I mean, it sounds probably better on an acoustic guitar,
03:35because it was done on an acoustic guitar.
03:37Yeah, so for the most part, that was...
03:39No, not for the most part.
03:40Just the little lick in the beginning.
03:42That was Sugar Ray, Someday.
03:44Okay, so that'll do it for another video.
03:46Until next time.
03:47See you later.
03:50Good douche.
