00:13Indonesian President-elect Prabowo Sobyanto visited Malacan earlier this afternoon.

00:18In their conversation, the President said that the Philippines is a good sign

00:21for one of the first chosen destinations of the incoming Indonesian President.

00:25Indonesia was the first visit of Marcos to sit on the position in 2022.

00:35to making that relationship between Indonesia and the Philippines stronger and deeper.

00:42Prabowo said that this is part of the Asian way,

00:45that before you sit on the position, you visit your fellow countrymen.

00:49And the friendship between the two countries was strengthened again.

00:53The Philippines and Indonesia have been friends for 75 years.

00:57We have common roots, cultural, historical.

01:04And by the fact that we are very close neighbors,

01:15and to work together closely in all fields.

01:21Before he became President-elect, Prabowo served as the Defense Minister of Indonesia.
