00:00It's Saturday the 14th of September 2024 and I've just crossed the Timor from Flemeth to Saltash for Pride 2024 and what a great event it is too. So let's go!
00:20Hello Mr Brunel!
00:30It's Saturday the 14th of September 2004 and I've just crossed the Timor from Flemeth to Saltash for Pride 2024 and what a great event it is too. So let's go!
01:00It's Saturday the 14th of September 2004 and I've just crossed the Timor from Flemeth to Saltash for Pride 2024 and what a great event it is too. So let's go!
01:10Have you got a bit of the flag?
01:24Beautiful human that is standing here today and actually every single one of us because there is a thought that we aren't all kind.
01:33We like to be a little bit rebellious as well. So as Pride we change things up. So let's get ourselves ready and make sure that you can be super loud.
01:44So when I go Oggy you go Pride. Oggy!
01:49I need to hear you from the bottom of 4th Street. Oggy! Oggy! Oggy! Oggy! Oggy!
01:58Oh that's better. Ok. Oh I can cross the road without being killed.
02:04Ok good. So Saltash Pride are you ready to march? We've got a fabulous Saltash handband. We've got the incredible Saltash Mayor and Deputy Mayor and Councillors with us who are very very excited.
02:18We also have Transport for Cornwall who is one of our main partners of Cornwall Pride. Very excited. There seems to be a bus coming through our march.
02:34Saltash are you ready to march? Are you sure? I don't know whether we're ready. Are you ready?
02:43The van's going to line up. Ok.
02:46The important thing that we have as part of Cornwall Pride is to understand how Pride impacts across our incredible Duchy and how we do that is this little QR codey thing.
02:57So there is a fabulous man. I'm pointing at him. He needs to wave his hand. Have you got the QR code on you? Can you wave that as well?
03:05There we go. So there's a fabulous person with a pink high-vis. If everyone turns round he's kind of over there in the mickey.
03:13Yeah that one. That's John. Hello John. Thank you. So he's coming around. Please do scan the QR code.
03:21We have amazing stores. We've got our Pride shop and everything that we raise goes directly to Cornwall Pride.
03:28All of the amazing Pride organisations we have around mental well-being and inclusion in Cornwall.
03:34But the most important thing that you can do today for Cornwall Pride is do more of this. Do we want more of this?
03:43Is scan this. Ok. So not just me. So John will be wandering around. So he's kind of milling around in the back.
03:50Instead of me and her. Where's Jack? Where is Jack? Who is Jack? All of the above.
04:03Alright Jack if you're good to go. Let's hear some noise for who is Jack.
04:20Hey. How are we doing? I'm about to not do as well as the last act I'm afraid. Because that was amazing.
04:30I'm about to play some of my own songs. We're going to get some emotion going. Everybody ready to feel some stuff.
04:38We'll open with a fun one.
04:50Don't know what that was. Woah. What are we doing there?
04:55Alright let's have that as an act again.
05:07You guys like coming out in the front?
05:09Ok.
05:39I'm afraid.
05:42Alright let's do it.
06:09I share a darkest secret. And I never let it go.
06:17I try to open my eyes. But by it's beauty I'm blinded.
06:27Ten thousand with heaven high. The brightest star in the night.
06:34Doesn't everybody dream that someday. We'll make it big and buy the house in LA.
06:42They'll never sleep cause every night's a party. We never eat cause we need perfect bodies.
06:50I know it's not supposed to rain over Hollywood. But if it all got washed away.
06:56It would be so good. And the skies are feeling gray. So I think it should be such a beautiful day.
07:06I can write you a love song. And hide you on the radio.
07:21Or I can paint you a story. Or the dark side of my soul.
07:29I try to open my eyes. See through a city divided. A twisted paradise for the evil to come.
07:45Doesn't everybody dream that someday. We'll make it big and buy the house in LA.
07:53They'll never sleep cause every night's a party. We never eat cause we need perfect bodies.
08:01I know it's not supposed to rain over Hollywood. But if it all got washed away.
08:08It would be so good. And the skies are feeling gray. So I think it should be such a beautiful day.
08:19I can't be the only one who's sick of the lies. That the worst of people fall for mine.
08:30Perfect disguise. Just don't know why.
08:36They'll never sleep cause every night's a party. We never eat cause we need perfect bodies.
08:42It would be so good. And the skies are feeling gray. So I think it should be such a beautiful day.
09:12You know the question shit right?
09:22This song's called Skin and Bone.
09:25Skin and Bone
09:39Are the nights the hardest? Or is it the way?
09:46A solid candlelight or a solid picture frame?
09:52It's so clear, I saw the signs.
10:00And I just screamed and cried when I first saw you.
10:08And it's not too late.
10:15Do you see the change?
10:21Cause I hate the thought of you alone.
10:27And I hate to watch you letting go.
10:34Remember you're just skin and bone.
10:40No need to bear this weight alone.
10:48Now the door is open. Let it collide.
10:55I'll always be here for sure.
10:59No need for name. No need for skin.
11:11If the waters rise, my hand will be there.
11:19Cause it's not too late.
11:25Do you see the change?
11:31Cause I hate the thought of you alone.
11:37And I hate to watch you letting go.
11:44Remember you're just skin and bone.
11:50No need to bear this weight alone.
11:56If you're alone, call me home any day.
12:08So I can hear your voice and know that you're okay.
12:20And I hate the thought of you alone.
12:26And I hate to watch you letting go.
12:33Remember you're just skin and bone.
12:50Who here has heard of a little-known artist called Sam Fender?
12:58Maybe you know the words to Hypersonic Missile?
13:02Yeah? I heard one person, so that's great.
13:05There, you can sing along with me.
13:11If you know it, you've got to sing it and dance, yeah?
13:20Dutch kids have their lungs in the parking lot.
13:25The golden arches illuminate the business part.
13:28I eat myself to death, feed the corporate machine.
13:32I watch the movies, recite every line and scene.
13:36God bless America and all of its allies.
13:39I'm not the first to leave you all over mine.
13:44I'm so blissful, I'm aware of what you're feeling.
13:50The key to God's eye bond, and I'm just out of it.
13:54The tensions of the world are rising higher.
13:57We'll probably do another roll with all the sire.
14:01I'm not smart enough to change a thing.
14:04I have no answers, I'm the closest one to the ice cream.
14:14Well, the silver tongue shoots and cartoons are all around.
14:21They're saying it's a new type of hypersonic missile.
14:29Well, if a bomb's dropped down, can you say that you're in good health?
14:36Oh, this is a new type of hypersonic missile.
14:44Things are like tumors all across the world.
14:48The kinds that eat at mankind give me no blind side.
14:52They say I'm nice because I can't see any deep.
14:56So I'm a reason for the life of you and me.
14:59But I believe in what I'm feeling, and I'm falling for you.
15:03This world is gonna end, but tonight I'll give you everything I have.
15:13I'll give you everything I have.
15:29Well, the silver tongue shoots and cartoons are all around.
15:35They're saying it's a new type of hypersonic missile.
15:42So I know it's not very late in the day.
15:45But it's a lovely day, so let's sing along, yeah?
15:48It goes like this.
15:49Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
15:52Can you do that?
15:53Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
15:55Louder?
15:56Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
16:00Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
16:03Shout out to those two people.
16:04Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
16:07Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
16:12Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
16:16Well, the silver tongue shoots and cartoons are all around.
16:23They're saying it's a new type of hypersonic missile.
16:31When the bombs drop, darling, can you say that you'll be okay?
16:37Oh, this is another type of hypersonic missile.
16:45They all do the same.
16:47Only the names change.
16:49Honey, you can join the club.
16:51Make a party.
16:52It's a party.
16:53They say it's a new type of hypersonic missile.
16:59Oh, this is another type of hypersonic missile.
17:07Oh, this is another type of hypersonic missile.
17:15Whoa-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh.
17:25And I wrote it for a person I loved.
17:29Loved being past tense.
17:44I could say a lie, but you would see the truth right in those eyes.
17:57So tell me, what's the point in trying to hide this feeling that we're both clearly trying to fight?
18:06The text, the feel, the rush, a hitter should be coursing through your blood.
18:13I promise that I'm trying to make you blush.
18:17Addicted to the motion of the touch.
18:22Off of my heart, over the altar.
18:26Into my final breath, oh, lover.
18:30For thunder, he plans to bring you closer.
18:34Just give me that sweet release, my love.
18:38Would that be easier than breathing?
18:42Dipped into the heat, I would sink your teeth in.
18:46Don't choke your poison, pull me open.
18:50Just give me that sweet release, my love.
18:54Would that be easier than breathing?
19:01Those baby blues, they're something that I can't afford to lose.
19:07Your elegance commands a crowded room.
19:11Yes, I can hear them talk, but I'm focused on you.
19:16Off of my heart, over the altar.
19:20Into my final breath, oh, lover.
19:24For fate, he plans to bring you closer.
19:28Dipped into the heat, I would sink my love.
19:32Would that be easier than breathing?
19:36Dipped into the heat, I would sink your teeth in.
19:40Don't choke your poison, pull me open.
19:44Just give me that sweet release, my love.
19:48Would that be easier?
19:53Would it be easier?
19:57Would it be easier?
