Our goal is to help the young generation advance even faster: Fares Saeb

  • last week
Delhi: Fares Saeb (DCM Israel in India) says, Usually, when we have different events and integrations, we bring our technology and introduce what we have to the country we are serving and working with. In this case, it's different because we are working in a nation that has already achieved great milestones, like going to the moon. We want to showcase our strengths as a country that values innovation and technology to a nation that also prioritizes technology, innovation, and education for its future. Our goal is to help the young generation advance even faster. This represents a significant opportunity to enhance cooperation between our countries, Israel and India, and between our people. This is the best people-to-people initiative we could undertake here in India.

00:00Well, usually when we have different events, inaugurations, things like that,
00:07we come with our technology and of course we introduce what we have to the country that we serve
00:14and the country that we want to operate and work with.
00:17Here in this case, it's different.
00:19It's different because eventually we are working in a nation that really went to the moon.
00:26So we want to introduce our strengths as a country that admires innovation and technology
00:33to a country that sees technology and innovation and education as its main goal to the future
00:40and to make the young generation step forward and advance even faster than it is now.
00:47I think it's a huge opportunity for widening the cooperation between our countries, Israel and India,
00:54and of course between our people, the people of India and the people of Israel.
00:57This is the best people-to-people initiative that we could do here in India.
01:05Well, I don't think that we don't see India just only as a labor or manpower.
01:11We do see India as an emerging power, of course regionally and globally.
01:18As I said, it's a nation that went to the moon.
01:22And this is what we admire about India.
01:25Not only that we share values as democracy and human rights and rights of minorities,
01:31we also share this vision to the future.
01:34So for us, it's just being part of this vision that India and the Indian leadership has,
01:42emerging with what we see as the future of Israel and the future of the world.
