00:00A man in Quezon City was arrested for molesting his minor neighbor.

00:07The suspect denied the charges.

00:14In a hot pursuit operation by the police in Barangay Magsaysay, Quezon City,

00:18a 45-year-old man in Sorbetero was arrested

00:21for molesting his 13-year-old neighbor and his co-worker's stepdaughter.

00:27Based on the investigation by the QCPD,

00:29the whole family was sleeping when the suspect entered the house.

00:33The man covered the victim's mouth so that he won't be able to scream.

00:37He entered their room.

00:41He had a knife.

00:43And there was a cloth that he smelled on his nose.

00:53The victim was weak.

00:56He was stabbing with a knife.

00:58That's why he stabbed him.

01:02Because of the fear, the victim was unable to speak.

01:06His mother felt something was wrong.

01:09She wanted to confess to her son.

01:13That's when she told him the truth of what happened.

01:18She told him that their co-worker was also living in the compound where they were staying.

01:24The suspect was previously jailed for the case of frustrated homicide.

01:28He denied that he molested the victim.

01:31There's no truth to it.

01:33Sir, you were stabbing him with a knife and he smelled something on the victim's nose.

01:39I will go to court if he will speak.

01:41The suspect is in custody of Project 6 Police Station.

01:45He was charged with complaint of statutory rape.
