00:00I want to start with the Mets because, um, we were talking to, uh, earlier about, um,
00:09to Bob Nightingale. And he said in not so many words, he thinks they'll choke. He says
00:14they don't know how to win when it matters and that the Braves do, and they know how
00:20to do this and they'll get it done. He'll, they'll catch them. And that he believes the
00:24Mets will be the team on the outs. Meanwhile, we're watching the Mets kick ass and take
00:29names every single day. It seems like, are you buying what he's selling?
00:35So if you were to ask me this question, Scotty, after the Philadelphia series and after the
00:39Mets lost on Sunday and you get the bad news with Francisco Indore, I would totally understand
00:45it. But think about how things have changed in the last 48 hours. The Mets go and win
00:51a dramatic game against the nationals. Then they smoke them on Tuesday night. The Braves
00:55choke one away against the Reds. And here's the other dynamic that's at play. The Arizona
01:00diamondbacks are completely falling apart. So who's to say it's gotta be the Mets or
01:06the Braves. It might be the Mets and the Braves to me, despite the fact that the Mets have
01:13questions with Lindor and you're waiting for the other shoe to drop with the patient, I
01:18can't believe this starting rotation has been this good.
01:21I think they're going to find their way in. I really do. Like if you would have kind of
01:24put me in this position a few days ago and I said, nah, they're going to fall apart.
01:28They'll lose to the Phillies. They'll lose to the Braves. Their season will be over.
01:31I think they're going to find a way, Scotty. And I looked at their future. Not that I think
01:36they're going to go and run through the National League, but I think the National League is
01:39wide open. It's might as well be worth the fly or maybe to throw a little 50 or 60 to
01:45one on some World Series action if they get themselves into the tournament.
