00:00If we're talking about the Kansas City Chiefs here, Doves, devastating news on

00:06Isaiah Pacheco, who looked like he was the lead dog, not only in the backfield,

00:10but the catalyst for that offense. Yeah, we love Rasheed Rice at wide receiver,

00:13and Kelsey's off to a slow start, and you still have Patrick Mahomes. But it seemed

00:16like the engine that was making that team go was Isaiah Pacheco, one of the most

00:20furious running backs in the NFL. But he breaks his leg. He's out probably at

00:26least two months, and the Chiefs are going to look for more help in the

00:29backfield outside of Carson Steele. So Kareem Hunt comes back to town for the

00:33Kansas City Chiefs, and yes, if he can go back to his rookie year, second year, he

00:37was absolutely phenomenal. I'm hoping to catch lightning in a bottle, but I think

00:41just getting some familiarity in the backfield back where he knows that

00:45offense, it can help this team. Signed to the practice squad, so it won't be an

00:48immediate starter, but the Chiefs needed help, Dovesy, and they went out and got it.

00:52Yeah, and brings in quite the veteran experience there, Kareem Hunt. We saw the

00:56numbers back in 2017, 2018. We know the upside is absolutely there. He's probably

01:01missing, you know, a step of speed, a step of pace, if you will, but this is a

01:05position that the Kansas City Chiefs are absolutely going to need depth with

01:08moving through the next month. I feel like for Kansas City, Donnie, they've had

01:12such a strong start to the season. Arguably the best, you know, compliment of

01:16wide receivers that Patty Mahomes has had to work with with the last two or

01:19three years. So they don't need the run game to be fantastic, but they certainly

01:23needed to be the foundation. So they're going to lose a bit of steam with Isaiah

01:26Pacheco, but hopefully it just buys them a bit of time at the table to get some

01:30other things going in the right direction. You highlighted Travis Kelsey.

01:33He's been a little slow for his starting season for, I guess, to get

01:37things going this year. So I like this move. Yeah, I'd love to see Isaiah

01:41Pacheco back in the mix. They're absolutely going to need him at the

01:44business end of the season, but it's a long year. It's a long campaign. They've

01:48shown a bit of class early in this one because it does not get any easier for

01:52the Kansas City Chiefs in search of a third consecutive Lombardi.
