It's clear to see why Malpas has been named as Britain's best 'secret village' to live in.
With characterful and historic buildings, a beautiful church, luxurious houses, great schools, gorgeous reaching views and lovely people, Malpas has everything to desire for your home setting.
Tucked away in the countryside near the Welsh border and just a 14-minute drive from the market town of Whitchurch, the hamlet has been named as the best and as a hidden gem by the Sunday Times in its list of the "friendliest and prettiest under-the-radar spots to move to".
Long-time residents have watched the south Cheshire village grow in size and population as new houses have been built, but despite this, the area has kept its character and heritage throughout.
