00:21But Eluned Morgan said the difficult decision was down to years of issues created by the

00:34wrong policy decision and how this will affect 400,000 pensioners here in Wales and take
00:41£110 million worth of benefits away from some of the most vulnerable people in our

00:47Well, I understand this is a really difficult and concerning time for a lot of pensioners
00:54in Wales, and people, as I say, have raised that concern with me during that summer of
01:00listening.
01:01But I think it is important to recognise that the UK Government has had to make some really
01:08difficult decisions.
01:10If you look at Brexit, you just see the fact that the exports have collapsed from the United
01:17Kingdom.
01:18We had the Liz Truss Government that pushed up interest rate payments.
01:21All of these things happened, and now we've got to clear up the mess that you left.
01:28Eluned Morgan answered a number of questions over the decision of the UK Government, but
01:32she said that those questions were much better presented to Keir Starmer, given the decision
01:37had basically nothing to do with decisions made in the Senate.
01:40Well, I'll account for the actions of my government, and Keir Starmer will have to
01:45account for the actions of his government.
01:47I'm not going to come here week in, week out, to respond to questions that should appropriately
01:53be given to Keir Starmer.
01:55If you want to go and ask Keir Starmer, you should have gone into Westminster.
