Hot weather has pushed over 50 municipalities across nine mainland districts in Portugal to maximum fire risk, complicating containment efforts and resulting in seven deaths since the weekend.

00:00Wildfires continue to rage across northern and central parts of Portugal. The fires have
00:09claimed seven lives and injured over 40. Since Sunday, over 62,000 hectares have been scorched.
