00:00I'm Georgia Smith from the Border Mail and here at Wubundru we have Gemma Coburn from
00:05Howlong and Ellen Cook from Jindra.
00:07So we'll start with you Ellen ahead of the Grand Final, how's everyone feeling heading
00:12into Saturday?
00:13Yeah, team morale is really high, we're really excited for Saturday, obviously Grand Finals
00:21are really special, they don't come around very often and we're really excited for the
00:27prospect of what Saturday can bring to us and the challenge that Howlong are going to
00:32provide.
00:33They're as hungry and as experienced as we are so it's going to be a great game on Saturday.
00:38And you guys have been just a draw but otherwise undefeated this season and you've got, is
00:44it five or six netball sides in on the weekend as well?
00:48Are you expecting a lot of support here at Wubundru?
00:51Yeah, it's going to be a big day for the club, not only just the A grade but we do have six
00:56netball teams in and a football side so it's going to be a big day, expect lots of red,
01:00white and blue around the ground.
01:03And yeah, so technically undefeated, we did draw with Ausbon throughout the home and away
01:07season but it's been, and to get the win on Saturday I think would just top off a great
01:13season and the hard work that we've put in throughout the season.
01:17And Gemma, you guys were here last year, it wasn't quite the result you were after but
01:21I guess does it make you a little bit more determined to get there this year?
01:24Yeah, definitely.
01:25I think probably on reflection over the last few weeks, we're probably going into Saturday
01:32with a little bit of a different mindset, you know, like we're really concentrating
01:35on our game and what we need to do to win rather than focusing on individual players
01:40and trying to shut down what might be brought to us.
01:43So we're really just focusing on what we need to do as individuals and as a team.
01:47Yeah, and it's been just about, just over 50 years I think since how long's last A grade
01:52premiership, so how special would it be for you guys, the team, to be able to break that?
01:57Ah, amazing.
01:58Like, we've obviously been defeated last year, we are really hungry to go that one
02:02step further and over the last three or four years we feel like we've really been building
02:06towards that.
02:07So we just need to execute on Saturday and yeah, hopefully we can do the club proud.
02:12Well, good luck to both of you.
