00:00Vanakkam. I am Dr. Prabhakar. I am a senior orthopedic surgeon at Thiruvalli Kaveri Hospital.
00:06Every year, on 4th August, we celebrate National Bone and Joint Day.
00:11Normally, when we talk about bone and joint diseases, there are 3-4 diseases that are common to us.
00:17One of them is Osteoporosis.
00:20The second is Rheumatoid Arthritis or Vadoneer.
00:24The third is very important, Fractures.
00:27Where do we see fractures? We see them in road traffic accidents.
00:31So, road safety is very important to prevent fractures.
00:36In this, we should always say yes to helmet and yes to seat belt.
00:42And always say no to drink and drive.
00:45The places where bone and joint can occur are road traffic accidents.
00:49If we take small safety measures, we can save our lives.
00:56By doing this, we can be safe.
00:59Our family can be safe.
