00:00At the beginning of the movie, a woman named Seraph is captured and punished for practicing
00:05black magic on humans, and the royal chief sentences her to death for her sins.
00:11Seraph claims she was only trying to help people, but the villagers do not believe her
00:15and start pelting her with stones.
00:18The royal chief tells her to seek forgiveness from her victims and repent to God, to which
00:23she responds that when misery and hunger filled their lives, she fed them and gave them wealth.
00:29She reminds him that he was barren and worthless, but she gave him offspring.
00:34The royal chief insists it is time for her to die, to which Seraph warns them to let
00:39her go or she will take all of their lives like wild animals.
00:43The executioner severs her head from her body, but to everyone's horror, Seraph remains alive.
00:54The movie then shifts to the present, where we see Aelin struggling with financial problems.
00:59As she walks toward her house, she is suddenly attacked by a group of men.
01:03One of them demands that she pay her father's debt, to which Aelin insists they have a deal,
01:09and she still has time, but the man responds that his boss has changed his mind and she
01:14must pay the debt tonight.
01:16In a desperate move, Aelin grabs a nearby bottle, holds it to the man's neck, and demands
01:21three more days to pay the debt.
01:24The man accidentally cuts his neck, begins bleeding, and leaves, giving her the three
01:28day extension.
01:30After this, she returns home, where she lives with her brother Bagas, and despite their
01:35financial struggles, she does her best to keep him happy.
01:39That night, Aelin finds herself in a strange place where she hears someone calling her
01:43name.
01:44As she touches a wall, her father suddenly appears in demonic form and asks her to come
01:49with him.
01:50She tells her that he and her mother died because of her, and that he will keep torturing
01:54her.
01:55Aelin pushes him back, but is terrified to see a large wound on his head, revealing his
01:59brain.
02:00The ghost then turns towards her and says, die, causing Aelin to wake up in terror.
02:06After this, she goes to Ghani, where Ghani's friend Fitra is already present.
02:11They plan to rob a house, but Fitra does not like Aelin, because she has recorded some
02:16of their conversations.
02:17She threatens him, saying that if he does not take her with them for the robbery, she
02:22will report him to the police.
02:24Ghani interrupts, pushes Fitra back, and then tells Aelin that she can't go with them.
02:29Aelin plays a recording from her phone, in which Fitra and Ghani are discussing robbing
02:33someone's house, because they need money for their friend Zia's heart surgery.
02:37In the recording, Ghani also mentions that Fitra made a girl pregnant, wants her to get
02:42an abortion, and sends her some money every month.
02:45Ghani introduces Zia and Aelin to each other, but Zia warns Aelin that Fitra and Ghani are
02:50like family to her, so if anything happens to them because of her, there will be consequences.
02:56Aelin takes out her phone and deletes the recording, saying she needed it to ensure
03:00she could come with them.
03:02The next morning, they reach the house they plan to rob but notice a car parked outside.
03:07They call their friend Dadi and inform him about the car.
03:10Dadi confirms that the house is supposed to be empty and suggests that the occupants
03:15might have gone on a trip without the car.
03:17They all wait for the night to carry out the robbery, and Zia stays in the car, while the
03:22other three go inside, and when they are jumping over the gate, we see an amulet hanging there.
03:27They find the door open and enter the house.
03:29Fitra tells Ghani to take the first floor with Aelin while he goes upstairs, and they
03:34agree to meet back in 30 minutes.
03:36Ghani instructs Aelin to take only valuables that are in large quantities, so the theft
03:42isn't easily noticed.
03:43They both enter different rooms, and Ghani finds some cash in a wardrobe.
03:48He takes all the cash, but when he continues searching, his hand touches something strange,
03:53and to his horror, he discovers a severed head, which disappears from there the very
03:59next moment.
04:00Meanwhile, Aelin sees Bagaz in the house, and she starts following him.
04:05Ghani comes out and finds Aelin going toward the basement, and she tells him that she saw
04:09Bagaz here.
04:10He tells her that it's impossible, and it smells awful here, but Aelin moves forward.
04:16On the other hand, Fitra gets startled when he sees his reflection in the mirror acting
04:20differently from him.
04:21His reflection then begins to pull a baby out of its stomach, terrifying him, but the
04:27next moment, the eerie vision disappears.
04:30Meanwhile, Ghani and Aelin discover dead bodies in a room.
04:34Among them, they notice a girl who is still alive and asking for help.
04:39As Ghani moves forward to assist her, nails pierce his hands and feet.
04:43He calls Zia, instructing her to get the car ready.
04:46Aelin tells Ghani that they don't know the girl, but he insists that she needs their
04:50help.
04:51He asks the girl how this happened to her and who she is.
04:54The girl explains that they wanted to sacrifice her, and when he asks who they are, she says
04:59she doesn't know.
05:00Ghani tries to untie the rope from her hands, but his hands get burned.
05:05Seeing this, Aelin picks up an axe and cuts the rope tied to the girl's hands and feet.
05:11After this, as they start taking the girl away from there, we see another man in the
05:15room who is also alive.
05:17They find Fitra outside, and as Aelin opens the door, they are shocked to see that the
05:22exit is blocked by a wall.
05:24Fitra immediately rushes to open another door, but that exit is also blocked by a wall.
05:29Fitra gets frustrated by this and tries to blow up the wall with a gas cylinder, causing
05:34a huge explosion.
05:36However, when they check, they find that there isn't even a scratch on the wall.
05:41He blames Aelin for their predicament, but Ghani says that pointing fingers won't solve
05:45the problem and that they must find a way out.
05:48As he is about to get up, the girl tells him not to go, and then she faints.
05:53They decide that Aelin and Fitra will go find a way out, and before leaving, Fitra hands
05:58Ghani a knife for his safety.
06:01Fitra and Aelin enter a room and find a photo of the girl on the wall with her family, and
06:06on the opposite wall, Fitra notices a family tree.
06:09They learn from it that the girl's name is Sukma Paritrika, born on a Friday Kliwan,
06:15and Fitra tells Aelin that Sukma shares the same wedding with the woman at the top of
06:19the chart.
06:20Meanwhile, Ghani notices Sukma whispering something, and as he gets closer to listen
06:26carefully, she wakes up and her eyes become demonic.
06:29A worm then comes out of her mouth and enters Ghani's ear.
06:33Sukma says, all humans will die, and Ghani starts writhing in pain, stumbling around,
06:39and suddenly, he is horrified to see the dead bodies of his friends there.
06:44On the other side, Aelin and Fitra hear Baygaz calling Aelin's name, and she rushes after
06:49him.
06:50Hearing Ghani's scream, Fitra rushes to him.
06:53However, Ghani sees Sukma instead of Fitra and asks her who she is.
06:58Fitra is confused by Ghani's behavior, and when Ghani asks Sukma what she did to his
07:03friends, she tells him that she killed all of them, and now it is time for him to die.
07:09Ghani takes out the knife from his pocket, and as Fitra cautiously moves towards him,
07:14asking for the knife back, Ghani attacks him, believing she killed his family.
07:19Fitra tries to tell Ghani that he is his friend, and attempts to escape, but Ghani
07:23attacks him again, making a huge cut on his face, prompting Fitra to naturally throw him
07:29back.
07:30Fitra then rushes to another room and locks himself there, but there, he sees many worms
07:35crawling on the ceiling.
07:36One of the worms falls and enters his mouth, and Fitra sees that the worm has entered his
07:41stomach, and to get rid of it, he starts stroking his stomach from different places, so that
07:46the worm can come out.
07:48However, this doesn't work, and soon the remaining worms also fall on him.
07:53Meanwhile, Zia tries to contact her friends, and Fitra replies that he is in the yard.
07:58However, we see that it is actually Sukma speaking as Fitra.
08:02Sukma then suddenly appears in front of Zia and begins laughing, prompting Zia to hit
08:07her and knock her down.
08:09However, Sukma quickly gets up, and when Zia asks her who she is, Sukma tells her that
08:15she is Fitra.
08:16Zia hits her again, twisting Sukma's neck, but Sukma straightens her neck and continues
08:21laughing.
08:22Zia gets terrified seeing this, and starts having a heart attack.
08:26She tries to run away but collapses after a short distance and dies on the spot.
08:31On the other hand, Aelin enters a room looking for Bagass when a worm falls on her and gets
08:36inside her clothes, and suddenly the light goes off.
08:40Aelin then hears a banging sound, and when she moves in that direction, she finds Bagass
08:45banging his head against a wall.
08:48Confused, Aelin approaches him and asks what he is doing there, to which he shows her an
08:53old newspaper clipping about their parents' accident.
08:56Bagass then disappears, and as Aelin turns, she is haunted by her father's ghost.
09:01Terrified, Aelin runs away and locks the door, and suddenly, someone places a hand on her
09:07forehead, making her unconscious.
09:09Later, he brings Gani and Aelin back to consciousness, and tells them that he just saved them from
09:15the effects of Median Black Magic, which can drive its victims mad.
09:19The man suspects Gani is Serap's grandson, but Gani says he doesn't know what the man
09:24is talking about, explaining that they are just thieves looking for money.
09:29The man tells them that the woman they let go is very dangerous, and then he tells Aelin
09:34that something is different about her.
09:36The man introduces himself as Urup Maheswaro, a noble descendant of a past kingdom.
09:42He explains that 20 years ago, he was tasked with hunting down evildoers who practiced
09:47Black Magic, and that 22 hours ago, he came to this house to end the Pre-Wongan heritage
09:53of Serap.
09:54He then transports both of them into the past so they can see how it all started.
09:58He explains that they are on Java Island, and that Serap Siddharasmi Peritrika was the
10:04most powerful shaman of that time.
10:07They then see that Serap is still alive, even after her head is severe, and Urup explains
10:13that she gets her power from God, to create a supernatural entity called Kodam.
10:19They called them Pre-Wongan, and Serap's Pre-Wongan is called Reji.
10:24A hundred years of curse awaits until the next generation who is born on the same day
10:29as hers, with the name Sukma, the woman they helped, and the curse can only be broken by
10:35the Kuris Surno-Peteng.
10:37Serap declares that she may die today, but her Reji will find the Chosen One from her
10:41descendants, and they will avenge her death.
10:44The royal chief then kills her with the Kuris Surno-Peteng, and Urup tells Ghani and Aelin
10:49that he came to the house to end the Reji's inheritance ritual, from passing to Sukma.
10:55He managed to weaken Sukma temporarily until they came and ruined everything.
10:59Ghani says they had no intention of ruining Urup's plans, and only then remember that
11:04Fitra is not with them.
11:06He requests Urup to help them find Fitra, to which Urup says they have to find the Surno-Peteng,
11:12which was lost 200 years ago.
11:14He explains that Serap's children built this house to locate and cast Surno-Peteng into
11:20the South Sea.
11:21He tells them he can sense powerful energy from there, and when Ghani goes to check,
11:26Urup tells Aelin that her friend is on the brink of death, and advises her to say whatever
11:31she needs to before it's too late.
11:33Ghani tells them they are ready to go down there, to which Urup agrees and emphasizes
11:38the urgency of finding Surno-Peteng quickly, to stop Sukma and help their friend.
11:44Now as they attempt to descend, they discover the stairs are broken, and as Urup says they
11:50need something to go in there.
11:51He loses balance, causing everyone to fall.
11:55As they move forward, Aelin mentions that she has seen this place before in her dream,
12:00but they initially don't believe her and continue.
12:02Ghani asks Urup about the significance of the place, and suddenly they see Aelin approaching
12:08them while singing a song.
12:10Shocked, Urup identifies it as Kidung Simar, a spell against evil.
12:15Aelin continues forward and touches a wall, revealing Surno-Peteng hidden inside it.
12:20She takes out Surno-Peteng and opens it, triggering an explosion that breaks down the walls blocking
12:26the exits, and the force of the explosion throws all three of them out of the cave.
12:31As this happens, Sukma comes there and demands to know about the Karas.
12:35She threatens to kill them all if they don't comply.
12:38They all get up, and Sukma begins to recite a spell to raise the dead.
12:42Urup urgently tells them to run, and as they attempt to flee, Sukma tries to stop them.
12:48Urup begins reciting prayers to halt Sukma's pursuit.
12:52He cautiously approaches her and commands her to return to hell.
12:56However, Sukma overpowers him and rips his hand from his body.
13:00She tells him that his life and death are in her hands, and then she possesses the corpses
13:05and sends them after Ghani and Aelin.
13:08Outside, Ghani and Aelin find Zia's lifeless body, but as they see the dead bodies approaching
13:13them, both start running towards the exit.
13:16Ghani gets Aelin out of there and tells her to go ahead while he is going to find Phytra.
13:21Aelin tells him that he going to die, to which he hands her the keys to his drawer, containing
13:26his savings, which she can take for herself and Bagaz.
13:30She tries to stop him, but he insists that she should go home.
13:34He then moves forward to confront the living dead and fights them off to prevent them from
13:39harming Zia, managing to knock them all down.
13:42However, as he begins to carry Zia away to search for Phytra, Phytra attacks him and
13:48starts devouring him alive.
13:50Aelin tries to leave the scene, but then her eyes fall on Sukma, filling her with rage.
13:56Sukma begins reciting spells, further enraging Aelin.
13:59She drives the van towards Sukma, hitting her and crashing the van into a tree, crushing Sukma.
14:05Aelin then comes out of the car and sees that the living dead are eating Ghani while he
14:10is still alive.
14:11She attacks and kills them one by one with the curries, but Ghani stops her from killing
14:16Phytra and then, after death, he himself becomes possessed.
14:21Meanwhile, Sukma emerges and declares that death is not the end, but her resurrection.
14:27Furious, Aelin moves forward to attack her, and an intense fight ensues.
14:32Finally, Aelin manages to stab Sukma with the curries.
14:36However, suddenly, Sukma transforms into Aelin's father, who accuses her of killing her mother
14:42and father and suggests that her brother might be dead because she left him alone.
14:47He offers her to join him in hell and pushes her back.
14:50As he approaches her to attack her, Aelin grabs Kuris and stabs him again in the neck,
14:56finally killing Sukma by severing her head.
14:58Next, we see Aelin and Bagass leaving the building when they encounter the man again.
15:03She hands him the money, clearing her father's debt.
15:06However, when the man continues to harass her, she takes out the curries and cuts his
15:11throat, prompting him to run away.
15:14As he leaves, Uripe appears and tells Aelin that Cernopeteng is meant for noble tasks,
15:19so she can't use it as she pleases.
15:22He explains that her aura exudes anger, which means Cernopeteng chose her to cleanse the
15:28heirloom, just as her ancestors did.
15:31He asks her to take good care of it because it chose her, and she will draw strength from
15:36it as she also makes sacrifices for it.
15:38He then calls her by her full name, Aelin Wihangamapti, and the movie ends.
