00:13In a Senate hearing Tuesday, September 17, Guo's staff members Kath Salazar and G. Pepito
00:18explain how they got Guo's affidavit notarized despite the mayor's illegal departure from
00:22the country in July.
00:24Guo says she pre-signed the last document of the affidavit before she escaped the country.
00:29Following Guo's instructions, Salazar contacted Kalugay's staff member Sheryl Medina for
00:33help with notarizing the document.
00:35Medina then connected Guo's staff to Khad Dante and lawyer Elmer Galicia.
00:40Senator Sherwin Gatchalian says Galicia lied when he said that Guo signed the affidavit
00:44in front of him.
00:45On Tiveros' notes, with Kalugay's assistant helping Guo, it seems unlikely they don't
00:49have a close relationship.
