00:00In the middle of a stormy day, the typhoon entangled the city of Antipolo in Rizal.
00:14That is why today, your GMA Kapusu Foundation moved to carry out Operation Bayanihan there.
00:23Due to the heavy rain, the water level in Sitio Cresay Creek quickly rose to its current level in Antipolo City around 7 a.m.
00:37The result? Flooding.
00:40Jenevieve's face was filled with fear.
00:43Especially when the water reached the middle of their house from the creek.
00:50They even had to drill a hole in the wall of their house so that their children could escape.
00:57It suddenly rose so high that we couldn't see anything.
01:02We were just thinking about the children.
01:06Their household items were no longer available.
01:10The GMA Kapusu Foundation immediately headed to Barangay Bagong Nayon and San Isidro
01:16to share help to those in need during this difficult time.
01:21We brought food packs, porridge and donuts for 4,000 individuals.
01:26We would like to thank the GMA Kapusu Foundation.
01:32The GMA Kapusu Foundation is your partner during this time of calamity.
01:40Some places in the town of Milaor and Camarines Sur are still flooded.
01:46The main livelihood of the residents is affected by the flood.
01:51That is why the GMA Kapusu Foundation is providing help.
01:56Because of the continuous flooding of Baguio-Enteng,
02:00many places in the Bicol Region were flooded,
02:03such as Naga City, which was submerged in a state of calamity,
02:08as well as the town of Milaor.
02:11That is where we met Hevelyn, who almost drowned because their house caught fire.
02:20Our sanitarium was harvested on September 10,
02:25that is why it was submerged in the flood.
02:28The owner, Laura Del,
02:30was the first to save her sewing machine, which was the main source of income.
02:36I will fill it up if it is damaged.
02:40These are the things that the GMA Kapusu Foundation will provide.
02:45These are the things that the government will provide.
02:51We will fight.
02:52There is no test that we cannot pass.
02:58The GMA Kapusu Foundation saw the situation of our fellowmen
03:03who were affected by the flood in Camarines Sur.
03:06That is why we immediately went there to deliver food packs to 4,000 individuals
03:12in the town of Milaor and Minalabak.
03:16Because Milaor is a catch basin, the water from the top will fall.
03:22The help that the GMA Kapusu Foundation gave to our fellowmen
03:28is very big.
03:31No matter what, we are always worried about where they can get food.
03:36The GMA Kapusu Foundation continues to distribute help to affected areas in Rizal.
03:44We have also distributed help in Northern Samar
03:48to those who were affected by the flood.

04:05Some areas were damaged,
04:07and some of the residents of Northern Samar did not have a place to live
04:11because of the impact of the flood.
04:14The GMA Kapusu Foundation continues to distribute help to the affected areas.
04:25On the first day of September,
04:27there was no stoppage of rain and high floods
04:31that hit the residents of Allen in Northern Samar
04:36after the Mteng Flood.
04:386 out of 20 barangays in the area were flooded.
04:43When the Mteng Flood hit,
04:45the wind was a bit weak here.
04:48But the strength of the rain was very strong.
04:52There was a place called Setio Esperanza,
04:55and it was almost full of people.
05:00Reinaldo and Maribel's husband
05:02tied their house to the side of a tree
05:05so that the flood would not come.
05:08We were afraid because we know God
05:10that our house would not be there
05:13because we would not have a place to live if the house was damaged.
05:16Willie and Dominga were very worried
05:20because 13 of their chickens and ducks
05:24were not saved from the flood.
05:26We would have been saved if it wasn't for the flood.
05:28It was very difficult.
05:30We had to carry it for a long time,
05:32and suddenly the flood disappeared.
05:35It was a big loss for us.
05:40Under Operation Bayanihan,
05:42GMA Capuso Foundation immediately traveled
05:45to Northern Samar to provide assistance.
05:49The first relief goods we received
05:52were from Sabang Ulo and Lagundi,
05:55in the town of Alam.
05:57I am thankful to GMA Capuso
05:59for coming to our barangay.
06:01It is a big help to us.
06:04It is also a big help to us
