00:43A tropical rainstorm has been moving inland near the North Carolina-South Carolina line.
00:48Tremendous impacts earlier today in southern parts of North Carolina,
00:52specifically in the area within maybe 40 miles or 30 miles of Cape Fear.
00:56Now the storm is continuing to unfurl, the band of heaviest rains lifting farther north,
01:01approaching the area between Cape Fear and Cape Lookout.
