00:00A senator is in favor of holding an executive session with Dismissed Mayor Alice Guo if she will clarify the details regarding the illegal pogos in the country.

00:09Bon Aquino has the story.

00:14In the last hearing of the Senate, some senators did not give the requested executive session of Dismissed Mayor Alice Guo.

00:21According to Senate Deputy Majority Leader JV Ejercito, she is in favor of holding an executive session if Guo will clarify the details regarding the illegal pogos in the country.

00:32She thinks that Guo is just a pawn in the bigger web of the international syndicate.

00:38In any executive session, we will give the details so we can know who are the big bosses behind the illegal pogos.

00:49Ejercito also wants to know who are the people who helped Guo to get into politics so that she can avoid another Chinese national entering the government.

00:59Maybe she's just a pawn. I know many Chinese nationals in other places.

01:09On Tuesday, the Senate will continue the hearing.

01:12The Supreme Court allowed the DOJ to transfer the cases related to the illegal pogos from Kapa Starlak RTC Branch 66 to Pasig RTC.

01:22In her letter to Chief Justice Alexander Guzmundo, Justice Secretary Crispin Remulla said that the justice system needs to be strictly enforced,

01:31especially since these high-profile cases are affecting national security.

01:36The DOJ is also entitled to file a case of qualified human trafficking against Guo,

01:41her business partners, including Wang Zi Yang, who was referred to as the boss of all bosses of the illegal pogos.
