00:00Joe, you're in a grand final mate. What does that mean to you and these boys and everything
00:06to do with the club? Three grand finals in fact.
00:08Yeah, it's surreal really. All credit to Dali today, they were sensational. But our boys
00:14were able to find something that last quarter against the Brees and just gutted it out again,
00:18pretty much like last week against Ballarat. So they've been fantastic all year and just
00:23so proud of them. We just prepare and go in this week and have another crack at it.
00:29How did that run in that last quarter come out? You looked like you guys were out of
00:33your feet that three quarter time. Jaco kicks that goal out of his backside, let's be honest.
00:37It was not the way you were going to kick a goal today. Where did you get that run from?
00:42We're a pretty fit team and we're pretty young, so we know we've got run in our legs. So we
00:49just have to get a little bit more speed in the ball movement. Once we did that and once
00:53we equalised around stoppage, we were able to get the ball in with a little bit more
00:58danger and score in that last little bit. Even when it went back through the wall, that
01:04was seven points up at 28 minute mark to be able to draw that goal. It was an amazing effort.
01:08And then the extra time, Molan, bang, bang.
01:11Yeah, look, he's been great on the wing for us and we just need a little bit of pace down
01:15forward. He was fantastic. He's a super kid and a super player. We just wrapped and he
01:21was able to deliver today.
01:24We touched on this at the start, but are you really aware of how hard it is to get
01:29three teams all through a grand final?
01:31Yeah, it's been. The 19s, the seniors, they're so tight. It's such a united type of club
01:39and all the boys just work their backside off. But it hasn't sunk in that we're all
01:44in the granny next week.
01:46No one's going to miss out?
01:47No, no. So, yeah, fantastic effort by the club. All we can do is prepare and it's so
01:54exciting for everyone.
01:55Looks like you got through injury free as well?
01:57Yeah, a few sore boys.
01:58I'm not surprised. It wasn't exactly an easy game.
02:00Yeah, absolutely. So, again, we'll do similar to what we did last week. Recover really well
02:05and then get really excited by the weekend.
02:09Could you learn much from that Melton game? Give it a win?
02:13Yeah, little bits and pieces. We know Melton are a bit like Gali. They're a really well
02:17coach, well drilled. So, essentially, we've got to be at our best to beat them and we
02:24know they've got good players on every line. So, if we just compete like we did today,
02:29we'll give ourselves a fair chance.
