00:00At first, my stomach kind of fills with nerves,
00:03but that's a completely normal response.
00:06You only need like 5% of nerves just to get you ready.
00:10And then it's like second nature.
00:15When I'm competing, it makes me feel surreal.
00:20I've been doing it for 12 years.
00:22My mom and I drove to Oakville and I just started.
00:27The rest was history.
00:30When they got to level three,
00:32they call out bronze, silver, gold,
00:37and my name was first five times.
00:45My goal is to be the best I can be.
00:49Gymnastics makes me feel like I'm a champion.
00:52It gives the sense of belonging
00:55and to feel part of a team
00:58that shares a common goal.
01:01Because sharing a common interest
01:03sparks something down the road.
01:06This one was for my hoop.
01:09We have provincials first.
01:11This one, my clubs, then nationals.
01:14This one, my ball, then world.
01:16This one, my ribbon.
01:18My goal is to get to world and top level three gymnasts.
01:23Crossing my fingers that this year is going to be my year.
