00:00Yeah I'm Anna from Outdoor Yoga Peak District and I'm Francesca and I do the goat walking here at
00:05Red House Stables. I've been doing alpaca yoga for a few years but then I found Francesca who's
00:12got goats and she wanted to do goat yoga together so over the summer we've been doing lots of
00:16sessions it's been really really fun and something different. So yeah the goats have like you say
00:23through each session got more used to sort of people and they definitely know what the yoga
00:27mats mean now they they like getting on your back and it's yeah it's a good experience for
00:31the goats as well as everyone that sort of joins in the sessions it's very enjoyable all around.
00:36Yeah yeah definitely it's something different and people are just loving it they're finding
00:42it so fun and just makes them feel so relaxed and happy and at the end of the sessions people
00:48don't usually want to leave they're just sitting basking in the sun taking in the views just
00:53stroking the goats and it's just it's wonderful. So what does it involve? Well it's like a normal yoga session
01:01except we have the interaction of the goats as well because goats are so gregarious and curious
01:06they come in and want to meet everybody and and join in so it just adds like an element of
01:13playfulness and humour rather than being like breathing and serious and postures it just makes
01:18it more natural and playful. And so what type of goats have we got today? So they're pygmy goats so
01:24we've got a range of sort of ages my oldest ones are four years old and then we've got the youngest
01:29being six months old it was a pygmy goat so like you say a smaller breed of goat so it makes it a
01:34bit better for the yoga really because they're not too big to be sort of climbing on people
01:38and getting involved with the yoga.
