00:00Assalam-o-Alaikum viewers, if your account is opened in Alight, UBL, HBL, MCB, Mizan, etc.
00:14and you don't know what your account or IBN number is, then you have to watch this video till the end.
00:22Because in this video, I am going to show you how you can know your account and IBN number through your bank's checkbook.
00:34So viewers, you have to watch this video till the end. My name is Sardar Zaman Tanoli.
00:39Welcome to my YouTube channel, Get Information and Knowledge. Let's start.
00:44Viewers, you can see that the upper checkbook is of National Bank of Pakistan.
00:49And the lower checkbook is of Allied Bank.
00:53Now what I will do is, I will go to both the checks.
00:59Now you can see, this is the check of National Bank of Pakistan and the lower one is of Allied Bank.
01:08I have blurred some parts on both the checks because it is against YouTube's policies that I share them with you.
01:19So you can see that some letters are written here.
01:25And then there are numbers and then letters.
01:27Now see, the number starts after the last letter.
01:33From this number to the last number, how many numbers are there?
01:39Now what you have to do is, you have to count these numbers on your checkbook.
01:43Because I have blurred some parts on my checkbook.
01:47Let's count.
01:59So viewers, these are 16 numbers.
02:01And these 16 numbers are called account number.
02:06So this is your account number.
02:09Account number consists of 16 numbers.
02:14Viewers, you can see that the letters and numbers behind 16 digits are counted as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
02:28So these are 8.
02:30So if you add these 16 numbers, which were the account numbers, with these letters and numbers, then the total is 24.
02:44So these 24 numbers and letters, in which the number of letters is less, this is your IBAN number.
02:58This is called IBAN number.
03:01If you see the cheque of Light Bank below, then it is the same.
03:06It also has an account number of 16 numbers.
03:10And inside it, a mixture of letters and numbers, it also becomes an IBAN number, just like the National Bank of Pakistan.
03:22Viewers, I hope you liked my video.
