00:00Hi viewers, in this video I am going to show you how you can create waterfalls using particle
00:09system in Unity.
00:11So viewers watch this video till the end.
00:13My name is Sazer Manthanoli, welcome to GetInformation and Knowledge YouTube channel.
00:18Let's get started.
00:19Viewers, what you have to do is go to window and then you have to click on assistor and
00:25then you have to click on search online button.
00:30So what will happen that the assistor will open.
00:34If you can't find the Unity assistor option in Unity editor, what you have to do is go
00:41to Chrome or any other browser you like and then what you have to do is in the search
00:51box type UnityAssetStore, ok.
00:59Then you have to search for it.
01:00Then you will find the hyperlink name https://assistor.unity.com and the hypertext for it will be UnityAssetStore.
01:15The best assets for game making, what you have to do is double click on the hypertext
01:22for the hyperlink which is https://assistor.unity.com.
01:35Then viewers you can see that the assistor has been opened.
01:41In the search box you have to type complete project and then search for it.
01:46After that you have to find the project named 3D Beginner Complete Project.
01:52You have to then click on it and then you have to click on open in Unity button.
01:59After that a popup will appear on which you will be able to see a button on which the
02:05text will be shown up Open Unity Editor.
02:09What you have to do is simply click on this button.
02:12After that you have to download this package.
02:15I have already downloaded it that's why this button is shown up which is for free download.
02:22After downloading this package what you have to do is click on the import button.
02:27After importing the package in Unity Editor what you have to do is open the main scene
02:35of this project.
02:37After opening the main scene of this project you will see like this interface.
02:43What you have to do is then search for a GameObject in Hierarchy named Bathroom.
02:52You can see the GameObject named Bathroom.
02:57I will click on it and then I will remove this text from the Hierarchy search box and
03:03then what I will do is expand the VFX GameObject.
03:09Then you have to click on the Rising Steam GameObject and then what you have to do is
03:16move the Rising Steam GameObject in the upward direction.
03:23The Particle System component is already added to the Rising Steam GameObject that is why
03:32this view is shown up.
03:37You can see that this is basically Steam and we will convert this Steam into a GameObject
03:50which will look like Waterfall Particle System.
03:55So first what you have to do is rotate the Particle System so that the direction of falling
04:05is in the downward direction.
04:08Then what you can do is change the size of the particle.
04:16So what I will do is increase the start size.
04:21You can adjust the size according to your needs.
04:26Then reverse what you have to do is click on the Level GameObject and then you have
04:31to go to Prefab and then you have to unpack completely.
04:37Now what I will do is delete the child GameObjects of VFX except the Rising Steam GameObject.
04:51Then reverse what you have to do is unchart the VFX GameObject from Level.
05:05So for that what I will do is drag the VFX GameObject and then drop it here.
05:12Now it's not the child of Level GameObject.
05:20Then what you have to do is simply drag the VFX GameObject and then drop it in the Project
05:29Assets folder.
05:30Then I will click on it and then I will click on Assets and then I will click on Export
05:37Package.
05:40Now reverse what I will do is click on the VFX Prefab and then I will click on the Export
05:50Button.
05:53After that you can export it anywhere you want.
05:56I will export it in the Desktop and name the file as Waterfall and then I will click on
06:05the Save button.
06:07Now you can see viewers that the Prefab has been successfully saved in the Desktop of
06:15my PC.
06:17Now what I will do is create a new project.
06:21After creating the new project what I will do is drag the Waterfall Package and import
06:31it into this project.
06:38You can see this is the Waterfall Package which I created.
06:43I will drag and drop it in the Assets folder and I will import it in this project.
06:50Now viewers what I will do is drag and drop the Prefab named VFX in the scene.
06:59You can see that the Waterfall Particle System is clearly visible and like this you can also
07:11create a Waterfall Particle System in Unity3D.
