00:00Of course, there's a lot of great guitars out there, but we require a particular sound,
00:19you know, and we have pretty much the same taste when it comes to the actual guitar sound
00:24and getting what we want out of it, so.
00:26You know, I'm always used to playing the V's, but I love those Eclipse guitars on the different
00:30styles.
00:31When I ordered a custom, I wanted something different, you know.
00:34For me, it was important to, like, have some graphics on the guitar that was totally me,
00:38you know, and something different, because I don't think it's any point of ordering a
00:41custom guitar.
00:42It's going to be, like, a plain black.
00:44As you said, the wood is, of course, important, and personally, I prefer, like, a really killer
00:49deep sound, you know.
00:52Mine is, like, almost all mahogany, I think, and I also have, like, string through body
00:56now, which also, I get more sound out of the actual wood, and now I get to play, like,
01:01thicker strings, because we tuned down from standard E to standard D now, and that helps
01:05to shape the guitar sound I'm looking for.
01:08We grew up listening to pretty much the same styles, I think, like, all heavy metal and
01:13thrash metal, and I think you can hear that very good in the music, you know, that it's
01:17a mix of different styles, it's not just black metal, you know, but it's some thrash
01:21elements and heavy metal elements.
01:23Yeah, we mix a lot of stuff into our music, I mean, we have some traditional black metal
01:27elements, but we've always had a lot more than just that, and for each album, we make
01:33our own continuation of our own sound.
01:36Kids want more extreme stuff, you know, it goes with the rest of the world, it's getting
01:41more extreme, and as a kid myself, I always wanted to explore more extreme stuff, of music
01:46and art and everything, you know, and we've always been like a visual band, and we have
01:52a package that goes along with the music, and I think it's important to have, you know,
01:57great artwork, interesting layout, and everything comes together, you know, and that's something
02:02you don't get if you download the album, plus that, if you get the actual CD, it's a better
02:06sound too.
02:07Keep on rehearsing and do what you want to do, because nothing is impossible, and before
02:11we even played in a serious band, we played music every day, you know, for many, many
02:16years, so it's a far way to go from nothing.
02:19And also don't be too concerned about what type of music you're going to play, or don't
02:23be concerned about putting a label on what you do, you know.
02:25Play what you want to play.
02:26Yeah, exactly.
02:27Take it all the way.
02:28Yeah, that's the bottom line.
