00:00A follow-up to that. Do you think you did anything wrong in this situation? Do you
00:06think that your attitude could have been different to the police? Do you think you
00:11could have kept your window down? Have you thought about that? Yeah, I have. I
00:15have, man. My whole life is all about accountability. Like, how can I
00:21get better, you know? So, right now, I have family members who are cops. We've had
00:29conversations. Yes, I will say I could have been better. You know, I could have
00:36let down my window, you know, in that instant. But the thing about me is, man, I
00:41don't want attention. I don't want to be, like, cameras out, phones on
00:48you, you know, in that moment. But at the end of the day, you know, I'm human. I
00:55gotta follow rules. I gotta, you know, do what, you know, everyone else
01:03would do, you know? So, now, does that give them the right to literally beat the
01:08dog out of me? Absolutely not. But, at the end of the day, I wish I could go back and,
01:17you know, do things a bit differently. You said that you would have handled
01:21yourself a little bit differently. For other people out there seeing that
01:25video, is there a message that you may have for them about how to handle
01:28themselves in a similar situation? I don't have a message for them yet, but I'm
01:35sure I will. So, ask me that question again next week sometime. So, I'm pretty
01:39sure I will because, right now, I'm in the process of, you know, putting
01:43together a good plan so that way I can work with those guys because I think it's
01:48good, man. I think we should lean on each other, you know? Like, we have influence
01:52on the community and I don't think that we should, you know, use this as a moment
01:59to, you know, separate, you know, people or divide people or, you know, make it a
02:06battle or anything like that, man. Because I still love, I still love cops, you know?
02:12I want to be a cop. I've been sitting on the table for the cops, man. But, at the end
02:17of the day, right now, what I'm focused on is my job and that's to play football,
02:24you know? And that's all that I can be. The best baller, football player I can be,
02:29man. So, how are you yourself handling the situation? Obviously, it's a lot of trauma. So, are you okay?
02:36Yeah, I'm good, man. Like I said, I'm really on phase two at all, man. Like, I've been
02:42praying a lot, you know, with my wife, having conversations with my mom a lot, talking
02:48to my kids a lot, you know? Because at the end of the day, like, those are the most important
02:52people in my life. Those are the people that, you know, that are in my circle, like, and
02:57I could care less about whatever somebody else has to say about me or the situation
03:05or whatever goes on, you know? So, I think the biggest thing for me is just, you know,
03:12making sure that I'm all right and my family has been doing a great job with that, you
03:20know? Because they ask me literally every five seconds, are you all right? Are you all
03:23right? Are you all right? I'm like, I'm good. I'm good. Like, I went to the grocery store
03:28last night. My wife called me literally like ten times. Like, it's crazy. So, I'm good.
03:35How would you describe some of the physical actions that occurred against you? Some of
03:39them might not be clear on camera. Some might not even have been on camera. What are some
03:44things that you can tell us happened?
03:47I don't know. It was crazy, bro. I thought I was in a movie. That's why I'm like, that's
03:51why I really couldn't get turned up for real. I'm like, damn, is this really happening?
03:57Man, I don't know, bro. Like, choked, pinched, kicked, all that, man. But,
04:06you know what? Like I said, man, what I said Sunday, I'm just glad to be here so I can
04:14just tell this story with y'all, man. Because this is like truly like shocking to me. It's
04:20embarrassing because I got kids. And when I FaceTime my kids, they're like, Dad, are
04:26you all right? Are you all right? And I'm like, yeah, Dad, all right, man. But it's
04:31good though. Like, my kids get to see me in a different light. You know what I'm saying?
04:35Like, I get to like, you know, come up with my own ideas and own plan to help, you know,
04:43change the narrative of who we are or who I am anyways. So, I think it's good. My kids get to
04:52see me in a different light. Instead of playing football, they get to see me as like a hero in
04:57this aspect now. So, it's a win-win, man. Your lawyer has come out and said that he's
05:05looking for the dismissal of the officer. Do you, what does that mean? Gone.
05:11So, you want the officer to be gone? Gone. Gone. Gone. He got to go, man. Because in that instant
05:21right there, like, not only did he do treat me bad, you know what I'm saying? He also treated
05:26my teammates with, you know, disrespect. You know, he had some crazy words towards them,
05:33and they ain't even do nothing. Like, what did they do to you? They just walking on the sidewalk.
05:36On the sidewalk. So, I don't know, bro. Like, he got to go, man. Like,
05:45I, it's not too many times that Cheetah say people got to go, but
05:50you out. What they say on Wild N' Out? Gone.
