How can AI and other tech help make running your home and kitchen more efficient? There were plenty of new ideas from top manufacturers at IFA Berlin.

00:00This is the 100th year of IFA, it's actually the 40th year of HIAS, so we're a pretty
00:12new company, 40 years relatively new.
00:14Through that 40 years, we've grown from a regional, provincial company into the biggest
00:18company in the world in home appliances with this idea of zero distance, no distance between
00:24us and the consumer.
00:25And if you think about it, what is going to accelerate that is the IOT.
00:29Each one of our product lines is full of new innovation, we're a very ambitious company,
00:33we're also investing huge amounts in technology.
00:36So whether you look at our new washing machines that have this fantastic airflow technology
00:39that allows you to put fresh air into the product, so that if you forget to pick out
00:44your washing just for a few hours, you don't want it to get musty, with our product it
00:48will blow fresh air into the product which will keep it fresh all the time.
00:52The newest Bosch innovation in our Series 8 oven, food recognition, it's the easiest
00:59way to get to the right setting, just put your dish inside, closing the door, food recognition
01:07is running and go next and we get the right setting, just press on start and everything
01:14is done.
01:15There are some innovations, of course, and probably the most compelling is the one behind
01:19me is our new R-TV, the TCL Next Frame TV.
01:23So it's a TV that is designed especially to fit in people's home, with a matte screen
01:28and super slim bedside that you can put it on the wall or on a stand.
01:32People actually today, they want bigger TVs and they want the best technology, the best
01:37premium technology at the most affordable price.
01:40If you look at washing machines or refrigerators, in refrigerators we have just launched products
01:45with A++ certification, so globally we are reducing the consumption, power consumption.
