00:00Hi, welcome back to my channel, in this video, I will explain the ending of cocaine bear,
00:04so let's begin, just to let you know this video will contain spoilers.
00:09It is the 1980s, and a man throws some duffel bags from an airplane into a forest.
00:14The man tries to jump off himself but dies.
00:17A young couple discusses their marriage and future children's names in said forest.
00:22They reach the peak and, to their surprise, find a giant bear near them.
00:26They bring out the camera to have a closer look at the bear until they find something
00:29fishy about it.
00:31The bear seems to be deranged, and before they know it, it's right on top of them.
00:36The couple runs for their lives until the man falls on his face.
00:40When the woman turns behind the bear, it attacks her and drags her into the abyss that is the
00:43forest until a leg gets thrown at the man's face, his girlfriend's of course.
00:48Cocaine bear then follows a bunch of offbeat people, including and not limited to some
00:52teens, a cop, and a bunch of drug dealers, whose lives tangle up because of this high
00:57bear, and what follows is the work of nightmares.
01:00Does Sari find her daughter D.D.?
01:02What happens to Sid and the bear?
01:05There are a few subplots in this film, so let's break them down and see what happens
01:08to whom.
01:09First, we have Sari, who is in search of her daughter D.D.
01:13D.D. wants to paint a waterfall in Blood Mountain and has taken her friend Henry to go do this
01:17on a school day.
01:19On the mum's hunt, she meets the park ranger Liz, who is trying to sweet-talk animal rights
01:23activist Peter.
01:25The two of them decide to help Sari because they have to head up the mountains anyway.
01:29Liz hates the idea because the beautiful Sari is a huge distraction to Peter.
01:34In the meanwhile, D.D. and Henry find a box of Coca-Cola in the forest, which they try
01:38to do before getting bombarded by the cocaine bear.
01:41Elsewhere, Sid RIP Ray Liotta, a drug lord, meets up with David, one of his minions, and
01:47tells him to go find the drugs lost in the forest worth $15 million.
01:51He also tells David to take his son Eddie along because he wants him back in the family
01:55business.
01:57Eddie is terribly disheartened by the death of his wife.
02:00There is also a group of three teenagers causing havoc in the forest and stealing things from
02:04visitors.
02:05Bob, the detective, is called over to help with the mishaps in the forest, but he's also
02:10trying to catch Sid.
02:11David takes one of the three teens with him and Eddie to go find the drugs after beating
02:15them to a pulp and being stabbed in the back himself.
02:18Right off the bat, when Sari and the rangers find Henry, the bear attacks them.
02:22Liz survives after being bitten and runs to get help.
02:26Unfortunately for Peter, who accidentally falls into some cocaine while trying to run,
02:30he gets brutally murdered by the bear and in its hunger for more cocaine.
02:34Sari and Henry manage to escape when this all goes down.
02:38Liz finds the other two boys, Ponytail and Vest, that David left behind in the office
02:42while she fills up her gun to get the bear.
02:45A series of misinterpretations follows where the boys think Liz was attacked by David and
02:49Liz thinks the boys were attacked by the bear.
02:52Finally, Liz asks Ponytail to open the door so she can shoot at the bear, but when she
02:56does, she accidentally kills him rather than the bear, hilariously, might we add.
03:01The bear climbs onto the roof and Vest and Liz try to figure out where it is.
03:06Unfortunately, they're unable to do it, and the bear grabs Vest from the door.
03:10The ambulance then arrives with two medics.
03:13One of them heads inside to a second door in the office, wondering why there's so much
03:17blood coming out of it, whereas the female medic checks on Liz, who is unable to speak.
03:22Liz manages to say, bear right, when the other medic is met with a decapitated body and a
03:26flying head.
03:28He is then face to face with said bear and slowly shuts the door.
03:32The bear manages to push it open, falling over the medic, who tries really hard to save
03:36himself.
03:37The chaos that ensues has got to be the absolute best part of the film, leading up to the brutal
03:41deaths of all three people.
03:44Somewhere else, Stach, the third boy of the gang, manages to reach the gazebo where they
03:48had hidden the rest of the cocaine but can't find the duffel bag.
03:52It turns out that Bob's already found the bag.
03:55They have a standoff, and Bob shoots off two of Dave's fingers before they realize the
03:59bear is right around the corner.
04:01They all stay still, and the bear ends up falling asleep atop Eddie, who's pretending
04:05to be dead, know that this is difficult to write when you want to be laughing every two
04:08seconds.
04:10David goes to check on the bear, which they now know is female, thanks to Eddie's amazing
04:14biology skills, before she wakes up and lunges for more cocaine.
04:18Bob realizes what the bear wants and gives her more cocaine in order to save David, Eddie,
04:22and Stach.
04:23Unfortunately, though, Sid has arrived in the building, sorry, mountains, and shoots
04:28at Bob.
04:29Sid is mad that David had been taking so long, so he'd come to finish the job himself.
04:35Sorry and Henry end up finding a trail of paint left behind by Dee Dee, who's hiding
04:38in a cave.
04:40At the end of the trail, they find Olaf, the man whose wife died at the beginning.
04:44He helps them with a torch but stays back because he thinks that a devil bear is in
04:48the cave.
04:49Dee Dee is reunited with her friend and her mom.
04:52Along with Dee Dee, there are now cocaine cubs in the cave too but they're harmless.
04:57Next in line for a mauling is Olaf, who stayed behind when Sorry and Henry entered the cave.
05:02Sorry, Dee Dee, and Henry try to escape through the cave as it gets dark outside, where their
05:07path is blocked by a waterfall.
05:09Eddie, Sid, and David arrive at the same spot with one of the duffel bags.
05:14The cubs start to go after Sid's duffel bag but he won't let it go.
05:18Eddie is tired of his father and tries to convince him to let the coke go.
05:23Sid tells Eddie that if he is unable to take the drugs back, the people he works with will
05:26come after his family.
05:28Finally, when Sid tells Eddie to shoot at the cubs, he refuses to do it.
05:33Little Henry yells some sensible things at Sid before finishing with, I'm tired.
05:37Sorry, and the kids jump off the cliff into the water for safety when Mama Bear arrives.
05:43Eddie and David follow suit, leaving behind Sid, who's trying to get his hands on another
05:47duffel bag hanging on a branch.
05:49When they jump, Sid shoots at the bear, accidentally hitting David in the neck.
05:54Finally, Sid and Cocaine Bear have a face-off.
05:57Sid shoots at her and she falls off the ledge to her death.
06:01David manages to drop some cocaine while getting his hands on the other duffel, allowing it
06:05to reach the Cocaine Bear, who then sniffs it and wakes up miraculously, an absolute
06:09legend.
06:10He climbs back up, spitting out the bullet and grabbing the duffels from Sid, killing
06:14him and knocking him off the ledge to his final demise.
06:17David is saved by Sari, who is a nurse, and they return to the safety of the outside world.
06:23Cocaine Bear and her cubs live happily ever after in the mountains.
06:26Or do they?
06:28Is Cocaine Bear set up for a sequel?
06:31It'll be hard not to think there's something cooking when there are not just one but two
06:34whole post-credit scenes in the film.
06:36The first one sees Stach, who got away when Bob sacrificed himself to save them, hitchhiking
06:41to New York with yet another duffel bag of cocaine.
06:44He is picked up by a truck with sheep in it.
06:47He first keeps the duffel with them, then realizes his mistake and takes it to the front
06:50of the truck with him.
06:52In the second scene, Bob's dog, Rosette, whom he didn't care for at first but later realized
06:56the value of just before dying, is handed over to Eddie.
07:00Eddie loves her immediately and takes her back to his son with David.
07:04So what's next?
07:06Cocaine Bear is a movie that delivers on the man vs. wild narrative but on the other side
07:10of things.
07:11It is also a parental drama where almost all characters, including the bear, are doing
07:15something or other for their parent or child.
07:18Although we think a sequel would be fantastic, it might not be as we expected.
07:23Cocaine Bear is still alive, and Stach has stolen some of the drugs, so keeping the the
07:26man wants power over everything, narrative alive, he could come back as a drug lord trying
07:31to capture the Cocaine Bear and her cubs for entertainment.
07:34Of course, the kid is one of the nicest characters in the film, but with the cocaine he has and
07:38his dead friends, anything could happen.
07:41So our final conclusion is, don't do drugs, kids.
07:45With a kill count of 8, we just can't get enough of a Cocaine Bear.
07:49That's all for now folks.
07:50I would appreciate it if you could give the video a super thanks with a thumbs up and
