00:00Mitch, can you give us a quick overview of the maintenance project which is happening here at Orion Power Station?
00:06Sure. At the moment we're doing a major boiler overhaul at Orion Power Station.
00:11We are spending $8 million worth of Origin CapEx to ensure that we can reliably operate our boiler and turbine over the next five year period.
00:19That equates to around 275,000 hours worth of work from 800 contractors across a 10 to 12 week period.
00:27And we'll be going through a rigorous maintenance program assessing all the areas we plant, looking at key safety, process safety, reliability and the efficiency that we can gain from the plant.
00:38How many extra workers are on site as part of that process?
00:41Yeah, so we bring in about 700 to 800 contractors across day and night shifts, six days a week, 24 hours a day.
00:47And this will keep the unit going for another five years, et cetera?
00:51Yeah, so the key metric for us is boiler certification as it's a government requirement and that is up to five years, five year certification.
