00:00A fight between husband and wife in the midst of a blazing fire in Bacoor, Cavite,

00:05where about 1,000 families lost their homes.

00:09Witness, Rafi Tima.

00:14From Cavitex, you can see the thick and black smoke

00:17coming from the burning houses in Barangay Longos, 43 in Bacoor, Cavite.

00:21The fire spread rapidly due to the strong wind.

00:25In this drone video, you can see the extent of the burned area.

00:29It was difficult because we had to go inside,

00:32while the people had to bring their belongings outside.

00:37The path was limited in space.

00:39We were on a boat, so when we reached our house,

00:42it was already difficult.

00:43But we tried our best.

00:45More than 800 houses were burned.

00:47The fire started at 12 noon

00:49and was extinguished after more than two hours.

00:52Although it was prohibited,

00:53some residents returned to look at their belongings that could still be salvaged.

00:57The barangay was filled with emotions.

00:59It was only a month ago when their barangay was also burned,

01:03where 600 families were affected.

01:05I saw how the children were running.

01:08Even the elderly were crying.

01:11That's why it hurts me.

01:12The couple was fighting over the possible cause of the fire.

01:16We heard from them that it was already too late.

01:20When the fire started,

01:23they said that someone was going to die.

01:26It should have been reported last night to the barangay

01:28so that we would know that it didn't happen.

01:31Earlier this afternoon, an islander was arrested.

01:34The islander said that he asked why the fire started.

01:38We went to the hospital.

01:39There were a lot of injuries.

01:40The fire was caused by a fireman.

01:41In the mapping out operation of the BFP Bacoor,

01:43they confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.

01:46The number of people who were burned is still unknown,

01:48but it is possible that it reached 1,000 families.

01:51Thank God, we were all saved.

01:54No one was injured.

01:56All of our belongings were burned.

01:59We don't know where we will be staying for the time being

02:05because we don't know where we will be staying.

02:09For now, those who were burned remain in different covered courts in the nearby barangays.
