00:00I was born near the creek and so I literally know every part of it and quite often swam in it.
00:06I must admit I wouldn't swim in it today and I probably wouldn't put the dog in it either.
00:12Now here we're right opposite the outfall. This place you see is where the sewerage and
00:20waste water is discharged into the creek as and when they need to. Just upstream of this
00:27place where we discharge it, only 15 meters upstream, you'll see on this side of the creek
00:34another discharging of water. This one is fresh water and I must admit it seems crazy to me that
00:42they discharge water on this side which is lovely fresh water and 15 meters down they mix it with
00:49the sewerage. So that's the reason why I'm here trying to get something done about this creek.
00:56Up here is the head of the creek where that proposed block of flats is going to be.
01:02Around here you'll see in red that is where the existing foul water is being discharged.
01:13On this side is where we've indicated that you've got the fresh water pipe coming out.
01:20This dotted line is showing the route I propose of the new line and I'm putting that across there
01:26because it's generally untouched land. Coming across here I'm showing where I would have
01:37thought the best position of this outfall would be. It doesn't show the motorway which is there
01:45but this is just this side of the motorway. You're showing the red which is the outfall for
01:54the proposed discharge of the water and the black cockpit is where I would propose to be
02:01both the flat for the aft tide flap and here over this side here would be the axis
02:10for the proposed construction of it.
