00:00The Philippine National Police, or PNP, has been chalking up one significant achievement

00:05after another these past few days, punctuated by the apprehension of Kingdom of Jesus Christ,

00:11or KOJC, leader Apolo Kebaloy over the weekend.

00:15Still, there are camps who attempt to belittle and even try to change the narrative, especially

00:20of the arrest of the religious leader, which the National Police quickly countered.

00:31KOJC leader Apolo Kebaloy was presented at a press conference in Camp Krame, along with

00:38his co-accused in cases of child sexual abuse and qualified human trafficking, namely Jacqueline

00:45Roy, Ingrid Canada, Crescente Canada, and Silvia Semanes.

00:50Kebaloy was handcuffed, wearing an orange Persons Under Police Custody, or POPC, t-shirt.

00:56His face was completely covered when presented to the media, but he was wearing the same

01:02cap when his photos were first shared after his arrest.

01:07Kebaloy arrived last night at Villamor Air Base aboard a C-130 from Davao City, before

01:13they were transferred to the PNP Custodial Center.

01:19Kebaloy was read his Miranda Rights in connection to their cases and underwent a medical examination.

01:26According to the DILG and PNP, authorities had cornered Kebaloy in the KOJC compound,

01:33forcing them to surrender.

01:35They also denied claims that Kebaloy came from outside the compound.

01:56Davao Region Police Director, Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III said that Kebaloy

02:23and his associates were last located in the Bible School or ACQ College of Ministries

02:29inside the KOJC compound.

02:31As early as Saturday, the final assault was already set.

02:36On Sunday morning, the ACQ College of Ministries was surrounded by a thousand personnel from

02:42the PNP Special Action Force, SWAT, and Regional Mobile Force Battalion, all set to storm the

02:49area when they received surrender fillers.

03:19This is when the C-130 arrived at Davao Airport to transfer Kebaloy as part of the negotiated

03:26agreement and the prisoner transport was successfully carried out.

03:31According to PNP Chief, Police General Romel Marvila, they had long been confident that

03:37Kebaloy was inside the KOJC compound all along.

03:41The operation was challenged by the obstructions and delays caused by the KOJC and they avoided

03:47harming any children as some were rescued from the compound.

04:18The DILG and PNP are planning to file cases against those who obstructed and provided

04:24false information during the service of the arrest warrant.

04:47There were tipsters who helped provide information about Kebaloy, according to Secretary Abalos.

04:58Abalos also stated he is ready to face the cases filed against him regarding the KOJC

05:05operations, one of which was filed by former President Rodrigo Duterte.
