00:00Hey, we stood in a cinema in Rotherham, how was that for you?

00:02It feels very exciting. I think we've waited a long time for this day to come.

00:07I'm really pleased that we're here, really pleased this is a commitment that we could deliver.

00:11The cinema's open, bookings are going well, reviews are going great.

00:14It's a big step forward for the town.

00:18I just want to see if he fails. Alright, go.

00:37It's a milestone, so it's not the be-all and end-all, is it? Where do we go from here?

00:42Yeah, no, we always said this wasn't the one thing, it isn't the silver bullet for the town centre,

00:47although it is important. So there'll still be a lot more works, the public spaces that people will see taking place

00:52over the next few months in town. The works on the market, £40 million investment in Rotherham's indoor

00:58and outdoor colour markets underway. It'll take some time to deliver, but those works have started.

01:03And then I think there's also something about having more people living in and around the town centre.

01:07I think there'll be more news about that over the months to come.

01:09And a quick word for Ricky, who helped you cut the ribbon there.

01:12What a great guy Ricky is. And he's got his gold star at school this week, which is great.
