Alice Guo, the dismissed Bamban mayor, revealed at the Philippine Senate on Monday (Sept 9) a new detail about her escape from the Philippines, confirming that one of the vessels she used to flee the country was a yacht.

00:07confirming that one of the vessels she used to flee the country was a yacht.
00:12During the Senate hearing on Monday, September 9, Senator Risa Monteveros asked Goh if she
00:16had fled the country on a yacht.
00:18According to Goh, she left the country by boat.
00:46Goh claimed she did not know who the owner of the yacht was, only saying that the yacht
00:50has a wings marking.
00:52Throughout the hearing, Goh repeatedly refused to give names of people who helped her leave
00:57the Philippines, but was eventually compelled to write the name of the main person or people
01:01who facilitated her escape.
01:03After receiving the piece of paperwork Goh wrote the name, Monteveros asked the former
01:08mayor if a Filipino helped in her escape.
01:10Goh said no Filipino assisted her escape from the country.
01:14Philippine President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada then continued to quiz Goh, asking
01:18if she was certain no Filipino citizen or government official helped her.
01:59Later into the hearing, Monteveros bared that the name of the individual who helped
02:12Goh escape was already mentioned during the previous hearings of the Senate panel.
02:16No other details were provided aside from Estrada's revelation that the facilitator
02:21of Goh's escape was in Taiwan, and that the person had five passports.
