03:19Thank you so much, thank you. This tour has been great for me because it's taken me right back to those early days.
03:30People forget that The Shadows and I actually started five years before The Beatles did.
03:35And there's always been this thing about Studio Two at Abbey Road.
03:39Well, of course, when we first went there, it wasn't called Abbey Road.
03:41It was called EMI Recording Studios, the record company's name.
03:45It was when The Beatles got there, and they did a fantastic album called Abbey Road.
03:49And quite rightly, I think they changed it to Abbey Road Studios.
03:52But we were there five years before them.
03:56People think that they owned the place, and they did not.
04:01We owned it, we merely rented it to them for a while.
04:05But they did wonders there.
04:06But for me, that corner of Abbey Road, they still have these big steps that came down from the actual studio area.
04:13And right in the left-hand corner, that's where they stood me and covered me with these things.
04:18Look, in fact, with the drummer here, we're trying to get this curtained.
04:24But that's what it was. I stood behind those to sing.
04:28And I fell in love with the place.
04:31I can see why Paul and the others desperately wanted to be there.
04:34You know, I met him, I don't know, a few years ago.
04:36They were celebrating like 50 or 60 years of EMI.
04:39And he came up to me and said,
04:41You?
04:43I said, what?
04:44He said, you are always the favorite of EMI.
04:47And I said, what are you talking about?
04:49He said, because every time we called, they said,
04:52Studio 2?
04:55Cliff's got it.
04:58And I said, Paul, please.
04:59And this is absolutely true.
05:00Bruce Welsh is the one that used to book the studios for us.
05:04He came back many, many times and said,
05:07We can't have it because the Beatles are there.
05:10So there we were getting angry with each other for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
05:14But that place was my birthplace.
05:17And I recorded Move It.
