England's pre-match line-up is GATECRASHED by a pitch invader in a replica kit in worrying security breach
A pitch invader gatecrashed England's pre-match line-up in a full replica kit in a worrying security breach ahead of the Three Lions clash with the Republic of Ireland.
The man joined Lee Carsley's man as they prepared for pre-match photos and had to be led away by security.
He was wearing a full England kit with the number '69' on the back and how he made it onto the pitch with more than 50,00 fans and dozens of stewards and security guards in attendance remains a mystery.
Minutes into the game, Daniel Jarvis took to X to claim he had charged onto the field in Dublin.
Replying to a message asking if he was 'planning something in Dublin?', the account posted, 'Yes lol'.
Jarvis is banned from all sporting events in England and Wales after running onto the field of play at The Oval pitch during the England v India Test series in 2021.
On that occasion, he barged into England's Jonny Bairstow and was banned from all sporting events in the country for two years.
He had earlier hidden in a bathroom while wearing India's cricket whites with the number 69 and 'Jarvo' written on his back.
Upon receiving an associate's call, he sprinted onto the pitch to throw a cricket ball and crashed into Bairstow before being hauled off the playing field by security.
The match had to be paused for five minutes while he was removed, with Jarvis waving to the crowd as he was taken away.
Jarvis was arrested over the stunt later the same day and subsequently charged with aggravated trespass.
He denied intending to disrupt the game but was convicted of aggravated trespass at a trial in 2022.
He received an eight-week jail term suspended for two years.
An hour after today's pitch invasion, Jarvis posted on X: 'I am now England's fattest ever football player!!!'
Paddy Power later took to the social media platform to say: 'Someone come and collect their da', to which the pitch invader responded, 'Don’t worry Paddy Power my kids got hold of me and took me home! Lol'
England swaggered to a 2-0 lead at half-time in the Nations League match in Dublin thanks to goals from Declan Rice and Jack Grealish.
The pair had been relentlessly booed by the home faithful in the first half, having both represented Ireland earlier in their career.
