00:10Some of the most talented people in film,

00:14some of the most exciting people here at the festival are here in this room tonight

00:18to celebrate the contribution that women make,

00:21which is massive in cinema and growing, and that's what we're here to support.

00:25It's wonderful also.

00:28Wonderful to celebrate some of the talented filmmakers

00:32who are part of the Share Her Journey program.

00:46Chanel's support of TIFF's Share Her Journey initiative

00:49through the Chanel Women Creators Network allowed us to advance

00:53and to really inspire emerging women and non-binary creators

00:57at TIFF Writers Studio, at our year-round alumni programming,

01:01and our micro-summit, and we're glad to have some of the alumni

01:04with films premiering at TIFF this year,

01:07so look out for some of those.

01:09Big thanks also to Chanel for their help in advancing their careers

01:12and fostering the voices of a whole new generation of filmmakers.
