00:00PwC has demanded staff spend less time working from home and it's going to start tracking their
00:04locations to make sure they comply. Starting in January, the firm's 26,000 UK employees will be
00:10expected to be at their desks or with clients at least three days a week or for 60% of their time.
00:16Previously, staff were expected to spend two or three days working in person. To ensure employees
00:20are not secretly working from home when they shouldn't be, the company will monitor how often
00:24they're working from the office. In the same way, it monitors how many chargeable hours they work.
00:29And every month, workers will be sent information about their individual working location data
00:34according to the Financial Times. The new rule only impacts UK employees and the memo to staff
00:39insisted this doesn't mark the end of flexible working at the firm.
