HMS Cardiff returns to The Clyde after floating at Glenmallan
HMS Cardiff, the second of eight Type 26 Frigates being built in Glasgow, has entered the water at Glenmallan before heading to Scotstoun.
The float-off process in deep water at Glenmallan was a success before she was seen being towed back upriver to Scotstoun.
HMS Cardiff was towed to BAE’s Scotstoun shipyard further along the Clyde, where the Type 26 City-class frigate will undergo further outfitting, testing, and eventually commissioning.
