00:00about some college football. Now I know you're going to talk to
00:05a vendor coming up here at the top of the hour. We love on
00:08coast to coast when college coaches get mad where we play
00:12Brian Kelly yesterday slamming his fist Yes, on the table
00:15after the loss to USC. Well, we've got another one today.
00:18This time, it is Dabo Swinney from Clemson as he is hearing a
00:22lot of pressure. Well, actually, he says he's not hearing it,
00:25Scotty. Of course, everybody says Dabo, they're not as good
00:28anymore. Lost his fastball. He doesn't use the transfer portal.
00:31He doesn't do this. He doesn't do that. Here's Dabo Scotty
00:35saying that he doesn't listen to all the critics. Y'all go
00:37write crap. Y'all go write terrible stuff. And when we do
00:40great, y'all go write great stuff. You know, that's okay. I
00:44mean, everybody's got a job to do. It's okay. That's okay. I
00:47don't take it personal. You know, I don't read it. Or
00:51listen to it. I doesn't it doesn't doesn't affect me. I
00:54love my job. I love what I do. I love all of it. Y'all can't
00:58change that. Now you can write now you can say you can change
01:01that. I love what I do. I love these kids. I love my purpose
01:04in life. And my life is on a on a foundation that doesn't
01:08change. It just doesn't.
01:12Listen, I don't believe for one minute that he doesn't hear it
01:16and see it and read it and listen to it. There. You would
01:21literally have to be kidding me to believe that when you lose
01:26when all you do is win for a decade and you win 12 games
01:30every year and you're winning national championships, and then
01:33you finally start winning nine games and not double digits. And
01:37then you lose and get your ass beat by Georgia in your opener.
01:42And then you're gonna tell me that he gets in his car and
01:46listens to Beethoven. I'm just not buying that I guarantee
01:51plops on the sports radio shows. And here's them talking bad
01:55about it. I guarantee it. No one on earth can help but be
01:59vain enough to listen to people's critiques of them and
02:03their work. Name a person that does this for a living that's on
02:07TV, radio or a coach or a performer or an actor that
02:12doesn't want to see the reviews of their work, or the ratings or
02:16anything else. Everyone thinks they're so wonderful. And I do
02:19not believe for one minute that he isn't affected at all by the
02:24heat he's under. I don't believe it. I just don't believe
02:27it. I'll tell you what, there's no one on earth that wouldn't
02:29be affected by it. And that wouldn't listen. And, and, you
02:32know, everyone's shredding him every day. And he acts like he's
02:36what skipped on my Lou going down the street, blowing and
02:39chewing bubble gum and, and blowing bubbles like I'm not
02:42buying that all, all the guys who always say that. They
02:48listen, they hear it all because that's, that's why they're so
02:51mad. They all get up there and say, I don't listen to the
02:53critics. They all listen. They all I don't read any of your
02:58articles. Yeah, but you know that what are you so upset
03:00about that you'd be walking into that conference, that press
03:02conference every week, having no idea what's going on. You
03:05wouldn't know that people are saying bad things about you.
03:07They don't lie, Scotty. That's part of being a college coach.
03:10You gotta be I guarantee you he sits at home at night late and
03:14reads all of it. He does. He absolutely does.
