00:09It shouldn't be, it shouldn't just be the norm, it's just common sense.
00:13I think as football has grown, and I've been lucky, I've really enjoyed the clubs I've worked at,
00:19but there can be a lot of people who get themselves involved for the wrong reasons,
00:23just for ego, for status, for money,
00:27and to do more harm than good.
00:29And it's really strange, I've said it to numerous owners before,
00:33if the club fails, the owner loses money, I get the sack.
00:37We're the only two people with skin in the game really.
00:39But yeah, owners tend not to listen to the manager as much as someone who's trying to take the money off them
00:44to broker a deal for them, so I find that really strange,
00:47but it's just a dynamic you've got to manage when you're in this position.
