00:00Hello everyone this is Paul Branson Reviews and much more. Today I am going
00:07to show you this is only at Loblaws and it's a it's companies limited so it's a
00:12very limited limited thing they're doing at Loblaws and certain grocery stores
00:17now. They're doing it at No Frills, Independent, Shoppers Drug Mart, City
00:21Market and I guess these are all owned by Loblaws at the back here and this is
00:26Canada only so you can't get these anywhere else they are cards that I'm
00:31gonna take out and I'm gonna look into them I haven't opened them up yet so
00:35every $25 you spend at No Frills or Superstore or Shoppers Drug Mart you get
00:42a four pack of cards so there's four cards in here and it's also a game the
00:50book you have to buy separately for $5 now the book explains the game but it
00:55also has some other stuff in there too like if you look here there's all the
00:59Marvel characters there maybe not all of them I haven't really looked and then
01:05there's a game there so there's games in here and puzzles in here and all sorts
01:10of stuff and even so there's a game for the cards so the instructions for it get
01:17ready for the ultimate celebration as Marvel turns 85 this year I didn't know
01:22Marvel turned 85 this year the Loblaw universe will take you on an incredible
01:27journey with this album packed full of thrilling missions healthy challenges
01:31fun facts and a tricky puzzle during this proud the Loblaw universe will
01:35transform into a Marvel gateway where you can collect all your favorite cards
01:39so there's 90 in a set and as you can see there's this here and then there's
01:44instructions to on a game power card game the game can be played with a
01:52minimum of two players with a suggested minimum of nine cards per player oh
01:56that's interesting he's over I swear I I am going nuts I swear I said it you
02:02could play with four cards to start the game shuffle and deal all the cards
02:07facedown each players dealt three cards a player has to start with three hero
02:13cards if you receive a value card keep drawing cards until you have three hero
02:17cards at hand and keep the value cards as extras the youngest player begins
02:23stating one of the values of their chosen cards other players then select a
02:30hero card from their hand each player places their card on the table facedown
02:35everyone then reveals their card simultaneously ready three two one if a
02:40player poses a value card with the linked value they can place it on their
02:44superhero card and the values will then be added to together for their turn all
02:50right I'm reading this but I'm not understanding a thing I guess I actually
02:52physically have to get the cards and probably physically do it myself but
02:56here's the rules to the game so there's rules to the game as you can see and
03:01then they got a whole bunch of other things so there's the Incredible Hulk
03:06there and of course they're advertising food there I didn't see that I felt like
03:12I'm reading a comic book in the comic book they had advertising so you have
03:16the Hulk there so it explains it there's so much in here to show you and I've
03:23called there's Doctor Strange and there there would be hit Doctor Strange's cards
03:28so that there's Doctor Strange there and the powers he has and all that they
03:34state them all so there's a lot helping to save the world superhero roots quiz
03:40so there's quizzes like I said there's tons of stuff in here
03:44oh there's Groot maybe that's what he eats at the bottom let's see pick out
03:52your top picks oh here's puzzles roots coloring book and the book is only five
03:58dollars so there seems to be a lot in here oh there's Thor they're pretty much
04:02all in here whole bunch of stuff and I guess that's where you put your cards so
04:11I guess you look at the number of your card and then you can read what it says
04:14and put it there or something I don't think you can there's no slot to put in
04:19to be kind of cool if they actually had a slot where you could put it in so
04:22that's the book for five dollars and it's a limited time too so you can't
04:26literally can't get anywhere else except Canada so now I'm going to open up some
04:30of these decks I have more decks but I actually really don't want to open them
04:38but I just want to show you what they look like because they also have some
04:41holograms in here that I've seen that someone mentioned to me so I'm gonna
04:46open them up now with my handy-dandy Swiss Army knife if I know how you know
05:00even so I'm older I'm very scared of using these things because you have to
05:05be very careful when you do so there's there's four right there oh I got some
05:18power card so I guess that's part of the game to power cards and then another
05:22power cards and then I got Captain Marvel and baby Groot and then right
05:27there shows their powers and everything down there that's actually kind of cute
05:31I actually like that I'm not going to take them out I'll just leave them like
05:36that because they're kind of flying around here but I got a few more that
05:42I'll open
05:52they seem to be easy to open just that I kind of I've been collecting them so
05:59every $25 you spend you get a deck of cards but you can also get cards they
06:04have specially things so if you spend so much on certain items you get an extra
06:09free card oh there's Falcon there's Groot again there's a power one there's
06:14see I don't seem to have any of the do I have any no I don't have any of the
06:21holograms ones yet and I got one more pack to open up maybe I'll get a
06:31hologram one I'm hoping let's see here but they also have a lot of other things
06:37going on ah oh black intelligence so there's Star-Lord there's Black Panther
06:52I think that's the oh I front there thought that was the She-Hulk so as you
06:58can see those and you could take them off too I just don't want to I can clip
07:03them off and they can come off I just don't want to all right everyone that's
07:09I find this very interesting that Loblaws is doing this but only in well
07:15Loblaws is I think I think Loblaws is only in Canada so they're doing it here
07:20so it's only in Canada so nowhere else even knows about this or they might now
07:25I don't know but I like the fact the book has a lot of games for the kids I
07:30would actually even like to play some of the games and if I can understand what
07:33I read about the rules I guess you have to play it to look at the rules and kind
07:39of play it simultaneously to figure it out but it looks like it would be a fun
07:42game and a fun book and they also have scanning things too that kids can find
07:47at Loblaws all right everyone bye for now that's my review of the Marvel
07:55collectible cards I really don't want to open up more I do have actually more at
07:59home but I like leaving them sealed I might actually open them because a lot
08:03of people are because I want to see if I got a hologram one hologram ones look
08:07really cool and then they have some other specialty ones too that are
