02:28Welcome back, everyone.
02:29It was Agatha all along.
02:31There's a brand-new Marvel trailer they released with a bunch of new footage.
02:34We got a bunch more answers about how Scarlet Witch Elizabeth Olsen is coming back to the MCU.
02:39So we'll break it all down.
02:41It seems like her son Billy is going to be a big part of that played by Joe Locke during the series.
02:46There's a couple funny moments where they reference Scarlet Witch.
02:49Like a couple WTF moments, but also kind of funny at the same time.
02:52Because the way they're sort of writing her into the series.
02:55Probably one of the biggest things here is they explain that Agatha is able to break out of Scarlet Witch's spell that she left her in at the end of WandaVision.
03:03Because Billy uses his magic to break the spell.
03:07The reason why he's able to do that is because his magic is just as powerful as Scarlet Witch's.
03:12He is Scarlet Witch's son.
03:13His powers basically work the same way.
03:15He has the same reality warping powers that she has.
03:17But even though they don't show it in the trailers, his magic is coded blue.
03:22Unlike Scarlet Witch's red chaos magic.
03:24So it's not quite the exact same type of magic.
03:27So part of the idea is that he's sort of like the true successor to Scarlet Witch.
03:31Because she's meant to be the most powerful magical being in the entire Marvel Universe.
03:35So basically his powers on the show will work a lot like Scarlet Witch's.
03:39Which is why he's able to just innately break her spell on Agatha.
03:44So that she can start to realize who she really is and what actually happened to her.
03:47The funny thing they're doing on the show though is they're just referring to him as teen.
03:51So here's what we get to more Scarlet Witch easter eggs.
03:53When he confronts Agatha saying that he actually freed her for specific purposes.
03:58That he's trying to walk the witch's road and needs her help.
04:00Because she's the only witch that's done it before that he knows of.
04:03She seems like she could care less about him.
04:05Like who the hell are you kid?
04:06Why are you bothering me?
04:07Who are you?
04:09Notice how she perks up when he tries to speak his name but can't.
04:12Because there's a spell laid on him by Scarlet Witch herself.
04:16Notice it's her signature across his lips.
04:18It's Wanda Maximoff that's made out in the letters here.
04:21Like her personal signature when she's signing forms.
04:24It seems like she detects that that is Wanda Maximoff's signature on the spell.
04:29Like she signed the spell.
04:31So it seems like at the beginning of the series Agatha might not know that this boy is Scarlet Witch's son.
04:36She might just think that he's just a random witch.
04:38The other funny detail about this too is if you watch the trailers that Marvel's been releasing with the subtitles on.
04:43They just subtitled him as teen.
04:46The official materials refer to him as teen.
04:48Very generic term.
04:49Like we all know that he's playing Billy her son.
04:52I haven't seen the series yet.
04:54But my assumption is that her magic just laid a protection spell on him.
04:58Preventing him from speaking his name.
05:00So that other people don't find out that he is the son of Scarlet Witch.
05:03And tried to hurt him or take him and use his power.
05:06Which it seems like is what the Salem Seven is doing in the trailer.
05:10That evil group of witches that seems like it's trying to kill them throughout the different parts of the trailer.
05:14I believe is meant to be based on the Salem Seven from the comics.
05:17It's a series based on witches in the Marvel Universe.
05:21So naturally we're pushing into a lot of supernatural territory.
05:23The Salem Seven is a very supernatural group in the comics.
05:27Their father canonically is Nicholas Scratch.
05:30Which Agatha Harkness's son in the comics.
05:33A.K.A. Senior Scratchy the bunny from WandaVision.
05:36Which we see her holding in the trailers.
05:38There were so many theories about this when WandaVision was happening.
05:41Like wait a minute, is that her son Nicholas Scratch?
05:43Because his name is Senior Scratchy?
05:45The way they explain it on WandaVision though.
05:47Is that there were a bunch of deleted scenes from the finale.
05:49I did a couple videos about it.
05:51So I'll link those below in the description.
05:53In one of the bigger deleted scenes they had a big battle scene.
05:55Featuring Senior Scratchy with Quicksilver.
05:58A.K.A. Ralph Boner.
05:59They were going to reveal that Senior Scratchy was actually a demon.
06:03That was trapped in bunny form by Agatha Harkness.
06:06So it was just going to break the spell on it.
06:08It was going to turn into like full demon giant form.
06:11So I think that means that Senior Scratchy on the show is not Agatha Harkness's real son Nicholas Scratch.
06:16I don't know if they're going to mention him during the series.
06:18When they're talking about the Salem Seven characters.
06:20We'll see.
06:21But they are based on the group from the comics.
06:24Agatha Harkness used to live in the same place where they come from.
06:27New Salem.
06:28Because we're talking about the Salem witch trials back in the 1700s where Agatha comes from.
06:32In the comics she left that area to go become Franklin Richards' nanny of the Fantastic Four.
06:38There were all the jokes about her being a nanny during WandaVision.
06:41That was like a loose reference to her being a nanny for Franklin Richards.
06:44Who we're going to see during the new Fantastic Four movie next year.
06:47This is actually footage of Sue Storm, Vanessa Kirby holding baby Franklin Richards.
06:53That's supposed to be the reason why Galactus shows up at their version of Earth during the movie.
06:57Is because he senses Franklin Richards' power.
07:00He's one of the most powerful mutants in the Marvel comics.
07:03Galactus becomes his herald.
07:06In another connection back to Scarlet Witch InVision.
07:08So the Salem Seven actually trapped Scarlet Witch InVision until she broke free.
07:13And basically just destroyed them with her chaos magic.
07:16Like basically blew up the entire area.
07:19So their group has deep ties to both Agatha Harkness and to Scarlet Witch InVision.
07:24Which this series obviously meant to be a WandaVision spin-off.
07:27It's meant to be part two of what they call a Scarlet Witch trilogy.
07:30Like a WandaVision trilogy.
07:32Part three is meant to be the Vision TV show that I just did a video for a little while ago.
07:37Ultron James Spader himself is coming back for that series.
07:40That'll be based more on the Tom King Vision run.
07:43Where White Vision just tries to sort of figure out what's going on with himself.
07:47After he took off at the end of the WandaVision finale.
07:50So for those of you wondering what happened to White Vision after the end of the WandaVision finale.
07:54They're gonna deal with that during the Vision series in about two years.
07:57I think 2026 is when it's supposed to premiere.
08:00Pretty good chance that we'll see the adult version of Tommy.
08:03Scarlet Witch's other son show up on that show.
08:06It just makes sense that if you're bringing her children back in adult form.
08:09That you do it on all these WandaVision spin-offs.
08:11I know there'll be a ton of questions about how Scarlet Witch's children made it back.
08:15Because they weren't real to begin with.
08:17So when she brought the hex down they got destroyed essentially.
08:20It's going to be connected to the way that Scarlet Witch survived at the end of Doctor Strange multiverse of madness.
08:26So her body was destroyed but her spirit survived and went to the witch's road dimension.
08:32The way they're explaining Billy coming back in teenage form is somewhat similar.
08:37So part of the idea is that his body was destroyed but his spirit lived on.
08:42And his spirit basically inhabited the body of another child who died.
08:47They might reference this in flashbacks.
08:49I don't expect them to completely explain this in episode one.
08:51Like it'll probably take the entire series to reveal who he really is and how he actually came back.
08:56But it's basically Billy's spirit inhabiting the body of Billy Kaplan aka Wiccan from the comics.
09:02Who was like a totally different kid that just died in some accident.
09:06That's the reason why his name isn't Billy Maximoff.
09:09It's Billy Kaplan because Billy Kaplan was the child of a completely different family.
09:13But it's the spirit of Scarlet Witch's child.
09:16So it's basically his consciousness in that body.
09:19It's the exact same situation for Tommy as well too.
09:22Like his spirit inhabits the body of a completely different child and grows up with a completely different family.
09:27Which is why they don't know that they're brothers until they meet each other and spend some time with each other.
09:32They get into that during the Young Avengers comics.
09:35Like they basically meet each other. They realize they're brothers.
09:38And then they realize that Scarlet Witch is their mother and then try to seek her out.
09:42So part of the idea is they're using this twist with Billy on the show to bring Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch back to the MCU.
09:50He'll start the series searching for her.
09:52I'm expecting a couple cameo scenes from Elizabeth Olsen at some point during the series.
09:56Maybe just flashes of her.
09:58But I don't think we'll actually see her fully come back.
10:01To like the end of the Vision series in a couple years or to like Avengers 5.
10:05Because she will be in Avengers 5.
10:07But it makes sense that you bring her back to the MCU through one of the WandaVision spinoffs.
10:12During the press release for the Vision series when they said it comes out in a couple years.
10:16She's supposed to come back and cameo during that as well too.
10:19So I'm expecting to see her during the Agatha show in a couple different ways.
10:23Like there are a couple flashbacks to her during the trailer.
10:25Like what happened during the events of WandaVision just to explain Agatha's backstory.
10:29But also start talking about her when Agatha starts to figure out what's going on with Billy.
10:34Like why do you have Wanda Maximoff's signature on your lips?
10:37Like why is there this spell that she put on you?
10:40Why are you so special?
10:41Oh, by the way, you're probably her son.
10:43There were like four different trailers that they've released for the show.
10:46And one of them does a pretty good job of spelling out who all the characters are.
10:50Like who this coven is that she assembles.
10:52Her Avengers team.
10:54The Avengers of witches.
10:55Because it's a roster of six characters.
10:57So you're talking about jokes on the original Avengers six team members.
11:00It's essentially Agatha putting together a magical raid party in the MCU.
11:04And going on a big dungeon run that just happens to be in an alternate dimension.
11:08The witches road is an alternate dimension.
11:10They need to use their magic to open the door to that other dimension.
11:14Her team is Agatha herself.
11:16Who says that she's walking the witches road because she's trying to get her powers back.
11:19And if you complete the road is supposed to give you your greatest hearts desire.
11:23And her desire is to get her powers back.
11:25At least at the beginning of the show.
11:27There might be some twist with that by the end.
11:29Like she'll get her powers back one way or another.
11:31But her secret hearts desire might be something else.
11:34Because you see her actually open her locket that we see throughout WandaVision.
11:38There was also a much better close-up picture of the locket too.
11:41It is the mother of the maiden in the crone.
11:44Like a lot of people suspected way back when WandaVision came out.
11:47Then there's Scarlet Witch's son Billy.
11:49Already talked a lot about him.
11:50This character is Jennifer Cale based on the comic book character.
11:53She crosses over with Man-Thing.
11:55We saw him on Werewolf by Night.
11:56She crossed over with Ghost Rider.
11:58The Midnight Suns.
11:59Even with Scarlet Witch.
12:00So she has a big connection with a lot of the characters are dealing with during the series.
12:04On the show they explain her main function is potions.
12:07So in their raid party she basically buffs the party.
12:11Patti LuPone is playing Lily Calderoo.
12:13Who is not a character from the comics.
12:15They just created her for the show because they wanted Patti LuPone.
12:17You notice a lot of the genres that they travel through in the series.
12:20Like WandaVision jumps through different TV genres.
12:23Different eras.
12:24They're doing something similar during the Agatha series.
12:27But just with different genres.
12:28Different vibe.
12:29Some of them I think are meant to be based on musicals.
12:32And Patti LuPone is known for doing a lot of Broadway.
12:34A lot of musicals.
12:35On the show she said that her main power is divination.
12:38Basically manifesting in her having visions of the future.
12:41Like they divine the future.
12:42But she doesn't fully understand what's happening.
12:44And she doesn't control her ability to see the future.
12:47Like it just happens randomly.
12:48This is Alice Wu Gulliver.
12:50She's the protection witch.
12:51Her power, self-explanatory.
12:53We're talking about raid parties here.
12:54She's kind of like the tank in the shield.
12:56She soaks most of the damage.
12:58In the trailer they make it seem like Mrs. Hart is their green witch.
13:01But I believe that's supposed to be Rio Vidal, Aubrey Plaza's character.
13:06Because you see her wearing green throughout the rest of the trailers.
13:09None of the trailers really explain why Mrs. Hart joins their party.
13:13Because Agatha looks like she goes to recruit her.
13:15She's like oh yay a party.
13:16Let's all drink wine together.
13:17Because they're forming a coven.
13:18But Mrs. Hart thinks that it's just like a fun party that she's going to.
13:22Most people remember her as Kitty from that 70's show.
13:25She was pretty funny during the WandaVision series too.
13:27I don't think she's secretly supposed to be a witch.
13:30Because during most of the trailer footage.
13:31She seems like the fish out of water.
13:33Just reacting to all the weird stuff happening to them.
13:35They can't believe everything.
13:36Like what?
13:37What is this?
13:38What's going on?
13:39Why is it so weird here?
13:40Aubrey Plaza's Rio Vidal character is not from the comics.
13:42They just created her for the show.
13:44She's supposed to be another ancient witch like Agatha.
13:47Who I believe has strong history with her character.
13:49Maybe they had some kind of weird relationship going back to the 1700's in Salem.
13:53But you see her during several different parts of the trailer in the timeline.
13:56Like when she's still trapped in Scarlet Witch's spell.
13:59She's trying to tell her to break free.
14:00Then she claws her way out of the dirt when they're inside the Witch's Road dimension.
14:04So it seems like she doesn't start the series on Agatha's coven.
14:08Like she's not part of her team when she goes to the Witch's Road.
14:11That might be early theory because Rio Vidal's character here is leading the Salem Seven.
14:16And she's trying to steal Billy Kaplan so she can take his power.
14:20Early on they were pitching the series as Agatha protecting Billy from the Salem Seven.
14:24So they couldn't take his power.
14:26So maybe Aubrey Plaza's character just tries to gate crash on their party.
14:30So that she can sort of horn in on that and take him by the end of the series.
14:34But I think part of the idea they're trying to pitch here is that eventually Agatha gets her powers back.
14:38And defeats all of them by the end of the series.
14:41But they'll be tailing them throughout the entire series in the Witch's Road.
14:45There's even a bit of a funny connection whether or not they intended this on purpose.
14:48Or if it's a coincidence to Deadpool and Wolverine.
14:51So one of the genres that they travel through during the Witch's Road here is the Wizard of Oz.
14:56During Deadpool and Wolverine he literally mentions the Wizard of Oz when he's making fun of Marvel.
15:02Like it's a big Disney Marvel joke about their multiverse tanking.
15:05The Wizard of Oz did the multiverse first and they did it best. The gays knew it.
15:10But we didn't listen.
15:12Part of the connection there back to the Agatha series is that during the series they do travel to the alternate dimension of the Witch's Road.
15:19Kind of like you see during the Wizard of Oz.
15:21Dorothy traveling to the land of Oz.
15:24There's a bunch of other trailer footage here.
15:26So if there's any really big questions you have that I didn't address during this video.
15:29Or big Easter eggs for Scarlet Witch or the other characters that I didn't talk about.

15:34But for instance during the trailer when they're looking at the Witch's Road.
15:37You see what looks kind of like a red light coming from a door at the end of the road.
15:41I think that's Billy seeing what he thinks he will find out about his true identity.
15:45That he is the son of Scarlet Witch and he's looking for her.
15:48But it sounds like whatever spell Scarlet Witch put on him to protect him from himself and from other people.
15:54Prevents him from knowing where he came from and who his mother is at first.
15:58Like I'm just trying to figure out where I come from and he finds out that he is Scarlet Witch's son.

16:28So my guess is that Bruce Wayne appears like Robert Pattinson will cameo scene.
16:32But it'll be as Bruce Wayne.
